Buddy really would love to have his very own home.

Baltimore, MD -- Please share this sweet boy so he can find his humans.

Buddy is a 1-year old handsome fella who came all the way from Kuwait to the US to find his own loving family.

Buddy is a fearful dog. You will have to take things slow with him.
Not in an aggressive way, but will just hide in his crate or another place where he feels safe if not efficient time is given.

Once he comes out of the shell and trusts his humans, he is such a sweet boy. He likes to sit on the lap and get petted and belly rubs.
He enjoys going for his daily walks, chew on his toys, and even play a little with his pals.

He enjoys watching things from the window and porch, and will even chime in with the other pups when a cat or squirrel walks by.

Buddy doesn't do well when there are lots of changes in the home. It sets him back and he becomes confused and concerned.
Being here with the other dogs that he knows he is great, but when new foster dogs arrive, he will regress some.
A stable home with not too many changes and commotion, would be ideal for him. He thrives with routine!

He did pretty good getting groomed and does ok on car rides.
Buddy is a handsome Yorkie mix who weighs around 19 lbs. He is neutered and up to date with his vaccines, and heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

If you are interested in Buddy, please send me a message or email:

Update: adopted!

Hunter is available for adoption through Needful Souls Dog Rescue.
Baltimore, MD

Please share Hunter with your friends and family!!

Little Hunter came to us in the most neglectful condition.
The owner surrendered him to animal control to be euthanized because he couldn't walk and he kept biting himself on his back. This poor boy was so severely matted that he could no longer walk from the tight mats. Also, he pretty much tried to pull his skin off his back from the severe pain the tight mats were causing him. Hunter suffered for a long time from neglect.

We were able to nurture Hunter back to health and his large wound on his back healed up nicely. He also got a dental because of the tartar build up on his back teeth.

Hunter is the cutest little Schnoodle (miniature Schnauzer and Poodle mix). It is hard to tell how old Hunter actually is because of the severe neglect he suffered. The shelter estimated him to be 3 years old. We think he may be between 3 and 5 years old.
This little fella weighs a little over 13 lbs and is now at his perfect weight.
He is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm- and flea and tick preventatives.

Hunter is a total love bug. He follows his foster Mom everywhere and always wants to lay and sit next to her on the couch or armchair. He enjoys being petted and get belly rubs.
He is playful and likes to fetch his stuffed toys. But not only that, he loves to suckle on his stuffed toys and his blankies. He often falls asleep with them in his mouth. It must give him comfort and that may have been the only thing he could do is to suckle on his blanket because he couldn't walk. Just sad.

Hunter is crate-trained and house-trained. He loves going for his daily walkies and likes to check the messages the other dogs left behind on posts. He also enjoys going for car rides and looking out the window or glass door.
He gets along with all the other dogs at his foster home, but chooses not to engage much or play with them. He may be happiest getting the attention from his family as an only dog, but definitely can co-exist with other dogs in the home. He takes group walks with the other dogs and does enjoy the company then.

Hunter will do best in a home with older children or adults only, and would prefer a more quiet home with a fenced in yard preferably.

This little boy is such great joy to have around. He is such a little snuggle bug.

Please share with your friends and family!

Nikki is available for adoption.
Needful Souls Dog Rescue, Baltimore, MD

Nikki has had such a very sad beginning. She was tossed out on the side of the road inside of a box when she was only 3 months old. She was a "skeleton" puppy and in very bad shape.
They didn't think she would make it in vet care, but she did. She is a fighter.

Here is Nikki's rescue journey video: https://youtu.be/5ytvb5K54U0

When Nikki was still a young puppy she was adopted by a couple with whom she lived for 3 months. But unfortunately she was returned because she developed "leash reactivity" and they couldn't and unwilling to work through it with a dog trainer.

Nikki was enrolled in training and did great. A new foster wanted to take over her care and continue the training but again, unfortunately she was neglected and left crated most of the day instead. It took us months to finally get Nikki back into the rescue after the foster refused to return her.

We continued with Nikki's training and she was able to overcome the leash reactivity towards other dogs. She does great on the walks with other dogs encountering her, even in enclosed space at the vet office with many other dogs, she no longer shows reactivity.
Nikki has come such a long way and we want nothing more for her than to finally find her loving forever home she so much deserves.

Nikki is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 42 lbs. She is an American Pit bull Terrier.
She if spayed, micro-chipped, up date on vaccines, heartworm- and flea and tick preventatives.

Nikki is great meeting humans. She LOVES car rides, walks, running, playing with other dogs after proper introduction. She walks nicely on the leash.
She has done great with all the foster dogs coming and going at her current foster home. She plays gently with the small dogs and loves to rough-house with the big ones her size.

Nikki
is house- and crate-trained. Also is fully trained and great with commands, sit, stay, down, place, heel, jump, off, out or drop it, in your crate, get it, here. She is highly food-motivated and easy to train with yummy treats.

Here is Nikki's current video link: https://youtu.be/0KhAFyjC4SI

Nikki is a love bug and would love to have her very own loving home.

Please reach out to Needful Souls Dog Rescue with any questions and to request an adoption application at [email protected]

Baltimore, MD

My sweet little fella Buddy is available for adoption through
BFG United States/Annette Romero.

Buddy is such a little love bug once he warms up to his humans.
This little guy has gone through so much over the last month coming all the way from Kuwait to an impatient home who didn't give him time to decompress and get acclimated. A week later he was returned because he wasn't the lap dog they were hoping he would be.

Buddy has been with me for a month now. And it turns out that he is a bit fearful of new surrounding and people, but has never shown any signs of aggression in our home.
He has come around and has become a little love bug always wanting to join me on the couch or armchair to get petted and get belly rubs.

Buddy has also discovered how much fun toys can be. He never had toys before and initially had no clue what to do with them.
Now he chews on the chew toys and nibbles on the stuffies. He is very gentle with them not to "hurt" them.
Buddy takes treats gently from my hand. His favorite is boiled chicken breast and Stella and Chewy Chicken meal toppers. And boy, does he love bully sticks!

Buddy has also become more comfortable with the gang at my house. He enjoys playing with little Missy on the couch, and has been playing "catch me" with the bigger pups in the yard.
This little guy is submissive and gives kisses to appease the other dogs. He has also given me lots of kisses.

Buddy is only a year old, about 18 lbs, a Yorkie and possibly Cairn Terrier mix. He is fully vetted.

The perfect home for Buddy is one where someone is not gone all day long. He needs to be around his humans to be able to bond.
Buddy would be a bit scared of little loud running-around kids. So a home with older kids 12+ would be best for him.
I think a home with a confident but not obnoxious dog would help Buddy come out of his shell much quicker in his new home.
A calm home with not too much commotion and noises would be ideal for Buddy.
Also, a home with a fenced back yard is would be perfect because Buddy is not a big fan of walking on a leash yet. He is getting a bit better smelling the "roses" but loud noises and cars driving by scare him a bit. So getting him potty in a fenced in yard would be best for him to start with. I think with continuous short walks, he will feel more confident walking on a leash to do his business.
Buddy is house-trained and crate-trained. He is pretty good on car rides and is curious checking things out while inside a safe space.
He is pretty good getting groomed.

Buddy has become such a little love-bug and cuddle-bug here with us, but it took time for him to feel comfortable. So patience is needed and with time given, Buddy will become the most loving companion.
He lays in the arms like a baby to get belly rubs, and sits on my lap like a little boy to be loved on.

Let me know if you are interested in Buddy. You can also reach out to Annette Romero for an adoption application.
Someone very lucky will take this darling boy home!

Look who is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!!!!

Kimmy has recovered well from the double cherry eye surgery. Her vision is now perfect. She is one happy little girl.

Kimmy is now also spayed and is ready for her loving forever home.
She is about 1 year old, weighs 14 lbs, and is just as sweet as she can be.
She has done well with other dogs and loves to play.

I shared a few before pictures of Kimmy when she was found after she was abandoned by her owner in Houston with very limited vision due to horrible infections and ulcers on her eyes from debris and dirt that was trapped by the cherry eyes.
And the rest of her photos are of Kimmy now enjoying her life and living in bliss.

Kimmy is now available for adoption through Blind Dog Rescue Alliance if you are interested or know of someone interested in bringing this pretty doll home.

Amazing what some vet care and love with do to a neglected and abandoned dog.

Kimmy was kicked to the curb by her owner in Houston, TX being mostly blind, with double cherry eyes and loaded with parasites.
Luckily someone found her and took her in while searching for rescue.

We stepped in, bought her in boarding while she was getting vetted and have her horrific eye infections treated. They cleared up so well that she is now able to see so much better. We brought her to Maryland. She is now being fostered by the most wonderful foster for Blind Dogs Rescue Alliance in PA.

On Friday, Kimmy had the surgery to repair the cherry eyes and to get spayed. She is doing well but it takes weeks for her to recover from the surgery and heal up.
Her vision will improve even more once she is healed.

I am so glad we were able to help this darling little girl who is still a playful puppy.
Kimmy already has an adoption pending.

Dakota LOVES to play with her rope toy!

Currently in Mechanicsville, MD -- Available for adoption through So MD Animal Rescue

Dakota, 3 years old, 60-lbs, Pit mix, female. She went to board and train because she was attacked by another dog in the adoptive home and then returned, now she avoids dogs because of fear but no aggression or reactivity, best as an only dog in a home with a dog-savvy adopter who can continue working on her training. She will bark and jump at new people. No kids since she would knock them down. Dakota loves leash walks, car rides, gold cart rides, and she loves rope toys she loves tossing around and toys. She seems to prefer men but is ok with women.

Koshi, was confiscated from neglectful home by Animal Control.

He is 11 years old, Maltese, 7 lbs, urine stained fur but should be able to be removed with the next grooming. This tiny little guy has the typical small dog syndrome and can be demanding when he wants something. He can be around other dogs after allowing him to decompress and settle in, but may do best as an only dog since he loves the attention and getting spoiled with lots of love.

Adoption fee is $175.
