Hey it’s Chesnee & Frankie Barney! We’re so excited to announce that we will be the new owners of Emslie The Florist & Gifts! Our vision is to revive and modernize this small business, which happens to be the OLDEST flower shop in New England, and let it blossom to its full potential! The ideas have already started piling up in how we can liven up our little shop, and we cannot wait to share them with you. Social media will be our hub of sharing new concepts and interacting with you all! As for the day-to-day work in the shop, Vanessa will continue to put together amazing bouquets! And of course, we will have the support of our mom through the entire process.

A little background about us: Chesnee will be starting her 3rd year at Husson University, majoring in business management and marketing. Chesnee has dreamed of owning and running her own business for years. Francesca recently graduated from Spaulding High School and Central Vermont Technical Career Center. She is a licensed cosmetologist and can’t wait to coordinate wedding hair and flowers for future brides! Tracie, proud mom of Chesnee & Francesca, is the Executive Director of The Barre Partnership and is beyond ecstatic to be able to help keep a Barre business open and watch her daughters blossom into Barre business owners!
