"With this long overdue post I would like to introduce the wonderful Flo Osborne." Flo is 89 years young and lives in a assisted living facility. During the first lockdown and after, Flo in her little kitchen baked up to 20 yummy fruit cakes (so a little over 100 in total) for our food drive for those in need and supported us in helping other people before.
She made every single cake herself, mixed the dough, cut the fruit and then put it in her little oven. In my eyes, this is a great achievement for the community and once again clears up the prejudices that age stops one from still being part of society.
On the contrary, my frustration is that I couldn't get the local news, radio or TV to write about this wonderful woman's great work. That's why I address all the users here via Facebook, of which there are much more than in the mainstream media. Lets make Flo a social media heroine. "

We are retiring and closing our practice. Since it's come to my attention some of you didn't get my letter, I'm posting it here. We are going to miss you all.

We also need an experienced part time medical receptionist.

Due to an extreme shortage of staff, Wilson and Dowling will only be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Also, please be aware that we have a physician shortage as well, since Dr Wilson is out indefinitely due to illness. For now, if you have an urgent illness, and our schedule is too full, we may ask you to go to an urgent or walk-in clinic. If you call and we do not get to the phone in time, you can wait on the line and the answering service will take your call. The answering service only forwards urgent calls in real-time.
All other calls are sent to us as an email the following day. Please consider calling back later instead. If you are having LIFE THREATENING symptoms like chest pain, severe unbearable pain, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms (such as inability to raise your arms, slurred speech, or drooping of your mouth) please call 911. Always go to the EMERGENCY ROOM for these symptoms!

Our office is in need of an experienced self-starter for the full time open position of Medical Assistant. As of 2 days ago, our staff is down to one part-time receptionist. Please, if you have a need, do not call multiple times a day. This will just delay your getting what you need, as Tish will be too busy answering phones to do anything else. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

We are back open after our flood. We still have some baseboards to be replaced, but at least it's dry!

We were greeted with a flood in our office yesterday, due to faulty plumbing! So, our office is CLOSED, and will reopen Monday (after the ten huge, noisy fans are removed). Well, MLGW got our power back on at about 9:15 this morning, so all well.

We are having phone and electrical issues, and it's not just us. This is happening to other businesses in our building. Unfortunately, we cannot be reached by phone, and all of our computers are down. We only have one exam room with working lights.. At this point, we don't know when it will be resolved. Individuals with existing appointments should show up at the scheduled time. There is no need to reschedule an appointment.
Only citizens who meet the eligibility criteria will be vaccinated, and appointments are required. Citizens should not arrive more than an hour before the scheduled appointment time and bring proof of appointment. People without appointments, even if they are within an eligible group, will not be served. If you do not have an appointment, you will be turned away.
