Busy Hockey Moms
Time saving tips for the love of our children and the game.
So excited about the hangers for the boys in Nashville next week. Not quite complete, but here is a peak. Could not have done this without as she is the craft mastermind. I will post a final picture once complete.
This bacon wrapped chicken was so easy and so good. I was running late so literally texted the recipe to my hubby and he made it perfectly. All the kids absolutely loved it. He was more comfortable on the grill, but you could make in the Ninja Foodi. Simply prep and the pressure cook for about 2 minutes and then air fry to crisp the bacon.

I converted another recipe that was multiple pans a low and slow cooking time to my Ninja Foodi. Billy got to practice with a “Sunday dinner” type meal that I made in under 20 minutes. Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin.

Had a friend make these recently. Can't wait to try them myself.
I ran into A hockey mom from a previous team during tryouts earlier this year and she mentioned she still has my letter to hockey moms I had put in the mom bags for a tournament a few years ago. I was touched she still had it and then started thinking about why I wrote it. Mark is now 29 (makes me feel so old) and still plays men’s league for the Army, and Billy is playing travel this year, on a fabulous Cyclones team yet again. We are working with James on learning to skate. In that letter I was so happy I was getting a second chance at hockey parenting and remaining a part of such a wonderful community. Now with James I may be triple blessed ( ). He wants to play but is not sure about the skating part because it is hard work:). But growing up in a hockey rink I am sure he will continue to have the bug. That said, I actually had posted the letter to my blog, but wanted to share it here as so many of these moms I have been with over the years and you have all played such an important part of our lives. Thank you all.

One of the best things I ever found to help save time and still feel like I was feeding my kids right was COST (Cook Once Server Twice) cooking. It is a great cost effective way to buy and use groceries as well as save time.
