To all of my family, friends and clients:

As many of you may know from speaking with me over the last couple of weeks, I have some bittersweet news to announce. After 4 years of opening and owning Canzoneri's Barbershop, I’m sad to announce that as of January 1st, 2025 I will be closing the shop. Batavia, you will forever be my home town and I am honored to have had the opportunity to open a barbershop in the town that I grew up in. Although this is not how I envisioned closing my business, I truly believe in the famous saying that everything happens for a reason. With that being said, Canzoneri’s Barbershop has truly had an incredible run. I have been privileged to work along side some great guys: Will Reschke, Tommy Slenker, Damian Hargrave , and Alton Rupp. I’m now looking forward to entering into the next chapter of my barbering career at Chiefs Barber Parlour in Buffalo, NY. I am looking forward to working along side some of the most talented barbers in Western New York and to have this amazing opportunity to grow in this incredible field of work.

Lastly, to my loyal clients, without you all my career would not be possible. I want to thank each and every one of you for the years of loyalty. Some of you have driven all the way from the south towns to Batavia to support me, and that means the world to me. Thank you not only just being my clients, but for allowing me to truly build life long friendships along the way. Starting on September 3rd, I will be working at the new shop on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remaining at Canzoneri’s on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Beginning on January 1st, 2025, I will be working full time at Chief’s. Posted below will be the website to book with me for the new shop !

Four years ago today on March 15th, 2020, we opened up Canzoneri’s Barber Shop. The last four years have been nothing short of incredible. From making it through a pandemic, to becoming a six chair barber shop. In the last four years, we have remodeled the shop as well as created a new culture and environment for the barber shop. I want to say thank you to the guys at the shop especially Tommy Slenker, Will Reschke, Alton Rupp, Damian Hargrave, and Richard Flores. You guys know how to drive me crazy almost every day, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. Because of you guys, work does not feel like work. Your dedication to your clients and this community is truly inspiring. Lastly, to our clientele, I can speak for all of us that the success of the shop is because of all of you. From being our biggest supporters and sharing our posts on social media, to telling anyone willing to listen to come get a haircut by us. The shop is what it is today because of the loyalty of each of our clients. We appreciate you more than you know!

ATTENTION CLIENTS:

Providing you with the best service we can offer is something we set out to do every haircut, everyday. In order to do that in the ever changing barbering industry, continued education is essential.

With this in mind, our barbers will be out of the shop Monday February 19th to take a course focused on longer hairstyles. We as a shop are excited to learn and grow with you.

As most of you may know, this past October Joe and I welcomed our best blessing,
Domenic Joseph 🤍

As a new mom i’ve learned so so much and of course one of my main priorities is making sure he always has what he needs! It’s been weighing heavy on me imagining there’s sweet innocent little babes out there and moms that are in tough spots who may not be as fortunate to provide essential things we can sometimes take for granted!

I am SO excited to have partnered with a local organization who aids moms (dads & grandparents as well!) to be the best they can for their child. Part of what they do is assemble newborn packages for soon to be moms in need. I felt so compelled to support this amazing doing. SO! We have put together a little fundraiser and will be selling fleece crewnecks with proceeds going to a donation of supplies (baby wash, lotion, shampoo, diaper rash cream, bottles, pacis, e.t.c) to fill these newborn packages with all the essentials!

A long time client of the shop, Alton recently made the decision to change career paths and become a barber. Although our shop along with many other businesses are on a temporary hold in efforts to slow the spread of the ongoing global pandemic, I want to take the time to sincerely thank the businesses and staff who are working through this time of extraordinary circumstances. Our Healthcare providers, our Food Service workers, our Teachers checking on students from home, our Financial Institutions, Our Law Enforcement and etc. Thank you.
