Local 5380 represents the full-time career firefighters of the Batesville Fire Department.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Local 5380 paired up with Batesville Liquor for a Yellowstone Barrel Pick! There will be a tasting tomorrow from 5p-7p along with a bourbon raffle. Stop by and grab a bottle to support your local firefighters!

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of James Muller and the entire Irmo Fire Department as the have lost one of their own in the line of duty. Firefighter Muller inspired many people and changed many lives through his passion for the fire service. Your contributions to the fire service will never be forgotten, Rest easy brother.

Local 5380 President Brian Hardebeck and Secretary-Treasurer Spencer Broughton are currently in Washington DC and attended the 2023 IAFF Legislative Conference. At the conference, brothers Brian and Spencer learned about IAFF priority legislation topics and will be advocating directly with members of the United States Congress on key issues impacting firefighters jobs, health & safety, and economic security.
At the end of the conference United States President Joe Biden addressed the IAFF members expressing his gratitude for firefighters and his commitment to making firefighters jobs safer.

Your Batesville Firefighters are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts fundraiser to support the Margaret Mary Health Foundation. Shirts are now on sale and will be available for purchase over the next 3 weeks. The deadline to order and receive your shirt by October, is September 14th! Shirts will be available for pick up at the fire headquarters starting October 1st or have them shipped directly to you!
