How many times do I have to say it?CURLS ARE AMAZING! If you feel like your curls are being weighed down, are not defined enough, and feel flat? I think you’d like to hear this..They can be difficult yes, HOWEVER, if you know how to style them and take care of them, then you’ve got it in the bag. This client came in feeling that her hair was flat—meaning that her hair was LOOOONG and a straight, blunt cut. Having that haircut will work on different hair types(straight to loose wavy hair), but when it comes to curly or coily hair, it is not ideal. Why? Because it will make you feel like you are wearing a triangle. And it is 100% not your curl’s fault. You just need to have a haircut that matches the shape your curls go in. For example, if your hair tends to want to go outwards(away from your face) at the ends, you need to have a haircut that rounds itself out. So, a lot of layers.
