We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to CF Industries for the more than $33,000 contribution they made to VOASCLA last week to provide books for children in Ascension Parish through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! The donation was made possible thanks to the company's annual golf tournament, which was postponed due to storms a couple of weeks ago. That tournament has been rescheduled for Friday, June 14th at Pelican Point. We hope it's a huge success!

Novemeber 2023 (2).mp4
During Native American Heritage Month, VOA honors the rich ancestry and traditions of Indigenous communities across the country. We also acknowledge the centuries of injustices that have been committed against native people, especially the tribes on whose land we occupy.
The folks from Kids' Orchestra have been working with the adults in our Day Habilitation Center for several months, teaching them all the things only music can! Yesterday, they put on this showcase to highlight the many lessons they've learned through "Music for All". Thank you to the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation for the grant that made the experience all possible!
