To keep everybody safe and the threat of imminent thunderstorm activity. Bay City Music Festival has made the decision to cancel tonight’s festival. Tickets for Saturday’s night show will be refunded and the Artist hope to get back to Bay City real soon!! All ticket holders will get email information. Thank you and we had to make the decision to keep everybody safe.

In the lead up to Independence Day, Frankenmuth Credit Union partnered with the Bay City Country Music Festival to raise funds for I Support the 1%, Veteran Food Pantry. FCU used its position as headline sponsor on June 15-17 in Wenonah Park to promote the needs of I Support the 1%, as they work to provide relief to active duty and veteran military members in our community and around the State of Michigan. The nonprofit offers a pickup option at the Pantry along with delivery for some through their partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs and their social workers.

Frankenmuth Credit Union brought awareness to the needs of the nonprofit through radio broadcasts on 98 KCQ FM and the Moose FM, live announcements each night of the concerts, and a scrolling banner on the home page of frankenmuthcu.org. The efforts raised a total of $5,124.13 to aid I Support the 1% in supplying food, sanitary products, and cleaning supplies to veterans and their families in need.

Those interested in contributing to I Support the 1% are encouraged to use the donate button on the homepage of their website supporttheonepercent.com. The organization greatly appreciates monetary donations which are used to purchase items for the food pantry as well as covering their operating expenses. Unopened and unexpired food donations are also accepted.
