In Exodus 17:8-13 we see a powerful example of intercessory prayer. Joshua and his army were in a battle with the Amalekites. As long as Moses held up his staff, Israel was winning the battle, but when he let down the staff, the Amalekites would start winning. Moses’ arms so go tired so Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands throughout their battle and God brought victory to the Israelites. Four simple steps we can take that will help us intercede for others. 1. Get Informed - pray for God to give you wisdom on how to pray. 2. Get Inspired - Ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray for another. 3. Get Indignant - A prayer that expresses passion and deep desire to see God move. 4. Get In Sync - Above all, pray that God will make His will and purpose the top priority. Who is God leading you to intercede for today?
