Noticed a couple of the ladies were looking a little thin. Dug around and found some eggs. Got these guys in the incubator and hopefully we’ll have another round of Emerald Tree Skink babies

Getting ready for take two at Pacific Northwest Reptile and Exotic Animal Show don’t forget to stop by and say hi! We have a few friends still looking for new homes.

I’ve got these sub adult male Kenyan Zebra Skinks that are now old enough to find new homes. They are CBB and pretty tame already. Their colors are just coming in and should come in more with age.

Chonk finally gave up the hostages! Babies are here. Current count is 5, but with them being so small there could be more hiding. Kenyan Zebra Skinks are a live baring reptile, so these little guys are called a litter.

Months of planning finally coming together! Kenyan Zebra Skinks are officially part of my collection!

This is a truly amazing little species of skink. They are an arid dwelling terrestrial skink that can and do make borrows. They are also able to live in little communities with adults and young. Also, they give birth to LIVE babies. When born they have a light colored body with black stripes. As they mature females will keep their zebra like appearance while males lose most if not all their stripes and gain a rusty red belly.

If all goes well, we’ll have some babies in the coming months.

First clutch of the year is hatching out. 67 days in incubation.

Did you know, we have Emerald Tree skinks! These guys are a fun little skink species and incredibly social. They’re not new to the hobby, but their recent popularity has definitely made getting some a challenge. Our colony is breeding though, so keep checking back to see the adorable little babies!

Chex did amazing laying 22 eggs. They are a little dehydrated cause she chose to lay them while I was gone for a day but I know they should bounce back without any issues.

Excited for our first clutch of the season! 10 good eggs and no slugs.

Hey friends please make sure you are doing your part to stop this from going through. It would cripple many reptile keepers and exotic breeders. This act would put a stop to any animal sales across states that isn’t cats, dogs, or farm animals. Your exotic pet gets sick and you need to take it to a vet across the state? That would no longer be legal. Please, please don’t let this pass.

Sneak peek at a spooky tree hide. It’s just missing it’s coat of paint. The hide is built into the bottom of the tree with an opening between the roots. Getting more and more into that Halloween spirit 🎃🍁👻

Is anyone as excited about Halloween as we are? Pumpkin 🎃 hides are officially my favorite. The mouth is three inches (give or take) and the perfect opening for your reptile friend to come and go. 🎃

Really happy to see this hide coming together. It will have a “thatch” roof made of moss. That way it will help with humidity, can’t wait to see it in its new home!
