But then I went and joined the stupid circus.

I spend my days an unpaid circus intern,

But there were tales enough for me to learn,

And so I bring you these forgotten fables,

So one day you can pass them on in turn.

They were nearly forgotten but now you will hear,

The sorrow and laughter,

The joy and the tears,

Of lacklustre legends that no one reveres!
