Having a bird buddy is a huge life decision. It is almost like having a child. Don't give a bird as a gift, and don't get a bird until you do a little research on life with a bird. We're pretty awesome, but not if you're not ready and don't understand how we behave!

Left out Friday night to travel to Arkansas, then hit the road again then next day, heading to Missouri. Finally headed home to Kentucky again last night!
Oh what an adventure!
We were beyond happy to have a chance to stop at the Buffalo River and a beautiful scenic overlook along the way!

Paco the Cockatoo (24)
Paco is a 24 year old Gophin Cockatoo.
When we first met Paco, the only feathers he had were on his cute little face, due to years of abuse and neglect.
He had been passed down from person to person, none of which cared for him, nor did they know how to.
Paco has spent the past 5 years at Adventure Pets, where he spent many days behind the counter yelling at customers as they walked in.
Now any of you that know about gophins, you should know that they usually don't live past the age of 30. Keep in mind that he was born in 1996 (24 yeas old)
My goal is to help Paco live out the rest of his days in our home peacefully, comfortably, and uncaged
