This coming week, Madison Southern's Girls' and Boys' Basketball Teams are hosting a Youth Basketball Camp at the high school for anyone K-8th grade. Camp dates are June 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 9am-12pm and you can register by using the QR code from the flyer. Payment will be accepted when you arrive at camp and doors will open at 8am on Monday to get signed in.

Farristown Girls Soccer is having open fields today from 3-5. There will be a brief parent meeting following the open field today. For more information contact Michelle Payne at 6063443004 or [email protected]

Summer Feeding will be starting soon! Children and teens 18 and older are encouraged to participate in this meal program. Both breakfast and lunch will be served to those who come to feeding sites.

The Summer feeding sites will be at Glenn Marshall, 8:30-12:30, Central 8-1, and Madison Southern 8-1.

The Street Eatz bus will be out and about starting June 3. We will go to Dixie Plaza, Madison Village, McDaniel Dr, Robinson Terrace, Southern Hills and Winesap Drive. The Street Eatz bus will run Mon- Thursday and give breakfast and lunch for Friday to participants on Thursday. I will send you specific meal times once we do a dry run of the route.

Smith Village will have lunches on site in June and will be served in July by the Street Eatz bus.

Wednesday, May 22nd will be the Kindergarten Celebration beginning at 8:30 am. Parents and Guests may begin arriving at 8:00 am. Wednesday evening at 5:30 we will celebrate our 5th grade students. Students should arrive by 5:00 dressed appropriately.

Thursday, May 23rd will be our 1st through 4th grade awards programs. 1st and 2nd grade will begin at 8:30, Parents and Guests may begin arriving at 8:15 am. Students in grades 3 and 4 will be recognized at 10:30 am. Parents and guests may begin arriving at 10:15. If you plan to check your student out after awards day. Please make sure you have returned the form sent home to your child's homeroom teacher. Further instructions on check out will be made during the program, please be patient as we release students carefully.

Students participated in a “Moving on Uo” transition activity this morning!! All students spent a brief time in the following grade level with the exception of 5th grade - they returned to Kindergarten one last time!!
