You all already know how much I love the .taproom that opened late last year. While the taproom is new, the brewery just celebrated its 20th anniversary with a roaring celebration where they released a brand new beer: Anniversary Kölsch (I thoroughly enjoyed this new brew!).
The packed event also featured delicious Trumer bites, 's food truck, and music from . And to be expected - there were so many adorable pups in the beer garden (and surprisingly cats and pet birds!).
And if you're wondering... wait, isn't Trumer like 400 years old? You aren't wrong! The original brewery from Salzburg, Austria goes back to 1601. A group of American beer lovers fell in love with the beer and - to our benefit - expanded Trumer stateside and opened the Berkeley brewery in 2004. And they've been brewing fresh, award-winning beer ever since!
The Trumer staff continues to be one of my favorite parts of the taproom, and I love that you can only get their craft beer at the brewery.

Trumer Pils is proud to announce that we've joined California Craft Brewers Association and California craft breweries across the state in creating Weissbier, as a part of a collaborative beer program to help raise funds to promote, preserve, advocate, and unify California’s craft brewing industry. Weissbier will be available on draft at the Trumer Taproom starting 7/25, see below for tasting notes and more details 🍻 We can't wait for you to stop by and try it!
Weissbier— An unfiltered Wheat beer. Classic clove and banana aromas from yeast. Brewed with German noble hops and a bit hoppier than other wheat beers. Medium body, refreshing, and effervescent. This traditional summer beer can be served with a slice of lemon. ABV: 5.7% | BU 22
