But the fun didn't stop there - we also spent the afternoon building, decorating, and flying kites on this beautiful day. 🌞 Who knew learning could be this much fun?

We had such an amazing time at Pocomoke River State Park thanks to the incredible staff and volunteers, Laurie Lawton-Smith, Eric Vinson, Kristin Wood, Fred Stiehl, Marc Emond, Lizy Maratea, who made our trip unforgettable. A very informative night at the Taphouse West Bar and Grille with loads of valuable info about mushrooms🍄 We learned about the medicinal benefits they have for our health, but also used in an environmentally friendly technology which involves the treatment of contaminated water and passing it through a network of fungal mycelium, called mycofiltration. All of this mixed up with great food, the community, and lots of support at the ACT, Sip and Science Series - Discover the Fascinating World of Mushrooms! What a night last night for a A Charity Night at Burley Oak to Benefit ACT - 'Clean Water Makes Great Beer!'Schizophrenic Boogiemen rocked the house! These guys were awesome! If you need live music for an event, wedding, graduation party, these are the guys! We thank them for making the evening that much better and to all the friends that came out to support ACT!
