To end our celebration of Women's Month, Thea Enterprises is proudly partnering with the ETA Bootcamp to give a deserving woman full tuition to their pre-apprentice program.

The ETA Training Academy, located in Clifton, NJ was designed to train pre-apprentices in preparation for employment in the electrical industry. There is an impressive 100% hire rate after graduation and all graduates will receive an OSHA-30 certification as part of the training.

Women represent just 4.4% of electricians in the United States, and while that number is rising, it is still small compared to 95.6% of men. Thea and ETA hope to encourage more women to enter the trades with this scholarship and their support.

Michael Wirwas was a dedicated and valued member of the Thea Enterprises team for over 20 years. Sadly, we lost Mike in late 2021 but his spirit and kindness will always be remembered. We have established this scholarship in his name as a way to honor his memory.

But in the meantime you might recognize one of our technicians who has a gratuitous appearance in the latest documentary video about the new stained glass window at Trinity Church Wall Street. Don't blink or you might miss him!

Where's PGELS? The Immaculate Conception Church Ithaca NY. This 120+ year old Church has never enjoyed the benefits of a dimming system, this will be the first such installation. This is a complete and total renovation. The building has been stripped down to it's skin. All of the decorations have been packed up and moved to storage. With all of the stained glass windows contributing so much daylight, they have requested a daylight control system for automatic dimming during sunny days. The best part was learning the two Electricians are ex-stagehands and understand dimmer racks and DMX control systems. Is this Heaven? No, it's Ithaca.
