Most of my women clients do not eat enough protein in general, so I strongly advise you if you are trying to lose fat and build muscle to increase your protein consumption per day to about 100gr and lower your carbs to 50-100gr a day. These are general guidelines and will not work for everyone. Higher protein consumption keeps you full throughout the day and helps you keep and build muscle. In addition, engage in strength training 2-3 times a week. Many women do only or mostly cardio, which does not build muscle and does not give you a muscle definition.
