The design for the last mural of the year from the DPA is finalized by mural artist Mary Petrosky.
The beautiful mural is being painted in the conference room of the new office building of VINES.

Take a selfie with the new Southside Commons Murals The Department of Public Art (DPA) recently announced the completion of a new mural on the southside of Binghamton and is inviting community members to check it out and take a selfie.
π² Give your holiday decor a fresh, festive boost with a wreath or swag handmade by Broome County Master Gardeners! Each piece is crafted with care from locally donated evergreens, and all proceeds support Cutler Botanic Garden. π

We did it! The Southside Commons mural is complete. Thanks to artists Rasha Taher, Ann Pellegrino, Robyn Geranis, and AmArA*jK. And all their helpers. And primers Stephanie Brewer, Mary Petrosky, and Carol Hawley. And DPA members Mark Bowers, Diane Lia, and Shawna Stevenson. The last piece of the puzzle, the 4th and final mural on the Southside Commons wall has begun and is coming along great.

More mural painting this weekend. With 2 out of 4 murals complete, this Saturday and Sunday, two artists will work on the white and black sections.
