The design for the last mural of the year from the DPA is finalized by mural artist Mary Petrosky.
The beautiful mural is being painted in the conference room of the new office building of VINES.
Great progress was made this weekend, and we look forward to it being finished next weekend. Earlville Opera House Arts Center

Take a selfie with the new Southside Commons Murals The Department of Public Art (DPA) recently announced the completion of a new mural on the southside of Binghamton and is inviting community members to check it out and take a selfie.

The Friends of the Two Rivers Greenway are hosting our second MAINTENENCE DAY to spruce up the 434 Greenway near MacArthur Park.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH
3:00 – 5:00PM

Bring:
β€’ Work gloves
β€’ Hand pruner
β€’ Lopper pruner
β€’ Stiff bristle broom
β€’ Leaf blower for final clean-up
β€’ Wheelbarrow or large plastic garbage can to place bags into – makes loading easier.

We did it! The Southside Commons mural is complete. Thanks to artists Rasha Taher, Ann Pellegrino, Robyn Geranis, and AmArA*jK. And all their helpers. And primers Stephanie Brewer, Mary Petrosky, and Carol Hawley. And DPA members Mark Bowers, Diane Lia, and Shawna Stevenson. And thanks to Robby’s Discount Wine & Liquor for providing the wall and a generous donation.

This project is funded by Earlville Opera House’s Arts in the Community Grants Program, made possible by the NYS Senate with support of the Office of the Governor, and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts.

Additional support for the Broome ACG Program graciously provided by the Stewart W. and Willma C. Hoyt Foundation, Inc.
