Excited to be part of the Hemlock Poets for this show. We immersed in the hemlocks together, wrote poems, workshopped together, supported the writing process and one another, and finished our hemlock infused poems in just a few weeks. They have been printed as large broadsides 20”x40” to be hung in the gallery amidst the visual art. .leisha

Forest Bathing in the Bankhead National Forest — Anne Markham Bailey In collaboration with non-profit Wild Alabama , this Forest Bathing immersion is a day-long session in an amazing rock shelter in the Bankhead National Forest. Join us for a brief hike into a lovely spot in the Bankhead National Forest for a generative poetry writing session that focuses on the eastern hemlocks and their ecosystem. Work will be featured at the “Saving Alabama’s Hemlocks” art show at Lowe Mill In Huntsville in October. DM me to register.

Sessions include creative writing, meditation, Forest Bathing, and Art For Change.
