Curious as to what our little red mascot in MYSA logo signify? π
It is called αα
αΊααα―ααΊαΈαα±α¬ααΊ or "Pyit-Tine-Htaung" and is a symbol of perseverance. These little toys can be seen all across Myanmar and kids would play with it. Whenever you throw the toy across the floor or pavement, no matter how hard you try to make it fall over, it will rise back up to it original position, seen in the logo.
In a metaphorical sense, it means "Come what may, I will continue to rise up." I will fall but with every stride I will rise in the same way Maya Angelou has aptly noted in her poem "Still I rise." πͺ
We hope everyone's also able to be Pyit-Tine-Htaungs in the journey that is life.
