Hey insta! Many of you may already know but for those who don’t, 1-26-2024 my beautiful mom gained her angel wings. 2 months after my husband gained his. I had to take a mental break, although I’m still struggling I feel as if I have them with me, telling me don’t give up. My strength not only comes from the lord, but from them as well. Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers! I really appreciate everyone who has reached out and who has supported us. I’m determined to turn this test into a testimony!!!

Hello everyone! I know people have been anticipating my opening, so I will try to make this post as short and to the point as possible. The owner of the commissary i was using terminated my lease without even notifying me before he told the health department. Actually, a few days after my moms passing. I tried keeping him up to date about everything i was going through, hoping he’d understand, especially since I wasn’t even using the space and had only opened a couple of times after my husband’s passing. Unable to pay rent, my lease was terminated. I was hurt and even questioned about why I’m going through so much in my life right now. I told the man at the commissary i was still going to work the trailer and turn my test into a testimony and I’m still going to do just that!! With that being said, I’m in search of another commissary(any permitted kitchen). It can be a church, school, club, gas station, etc. As long as it’s permitted through jefferson county health department !! I’m ready to get back in the trailer but unfortunately will have to go through the process of getting permitted again but I’m trying to get it done asap. Depression will NOT win, grief will NOT win. My faith is strong and will continue to be!! Big thank you to everyone who has supported me with the business and even with the passing of my husband and mother! Mika’s Breakfast & Lunch will be back really soon and keep you all updated!!

We know it’s been awhile, but aside from the weather we have been temporarily closed. Yesterday, my mom passed away. Less than 3 months after the passing of my husband. Please keep my family in your prayers. I really have no words, me and my mom were beyond close so please just continue to pray for me and my family!

I didn’t inform my instagram followers, but 4 weeks ago my husband passed away. He not only played a huge role in our lives but also with the food trailer. I gave myself a mental break because dealing with this loss is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my life. Thank you to the ones who have reached out and please just continue to keep me and my family in your prayers!

Thanks to everyone who has supported me this weekend and to everyone who has reached out in regards to the passing of my husband. Getting back in the trailer has not been easy but with time, patience and prayer I know that this the hurt will be filled with love and happy memories!
Unfortunately I’m not at the stationary location in lakeshore but I’ll be sure to get back to posting so you all know my whereabouts!
Remember, I offer catering and can pull up to any event, job site, etc! Thanks you all again!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of owner/my husband! His life was tragically taken a few days before thanksgiving! Please allow our family time to grieve and get things together for his home going. I will try to open again next week and keep you all updated. Please keep us in your prayers and have a happy thanksgiving!
