MEET OUR PROTECTORS

Chris lives in Birmingham, Alabama, and has been with Protective for five years. He is responsible for helping produce long-range financial projections that help protect our customers.

Chris has been married for 28 years and has three children. He enjoys mentoring and volunteering as a Scout leader in his spare time. He will be an empty nester soon and is looking forward to that change with mixed emotions.

Even after 27 years in life insurance, he remains passionate about the industry. "I love being part of the life insurance industry and being a life actuary. Families place their trust in us to help them protect their loved ones," Chris says. “I’m protective of my team at Protective. They’re such a fabulous group of brilliant and hard-working individuals. They make me proud and happy to work hard for them.”

Kim is a proud pet parent who has worked in the life insurance industry for more than 38 years. She fondly reflects on her career, including the support she received from coworkers when she became a widow after 33 years of marriage.

“I’ve had an amazing career in the life insurance industry with the opportunity to lead and participate in cross-site and cross-functional collaboration and process improvements,” Kim says. “I’ve met fabulous people along the way and developed key relationships that enabled my growth and opportunities to add value. I am very thankful to have joined this team of protectors.”

To celebrate our recent partnership with the Miami Open, Protective’s Elgin teammates gathered to host pickleball games and a food drive. They collected over 140 cans and boxes of food for the FISH Food Pantry! 👏
