And then there were 2! Ruby is with her forever family today, so Violet and Bowser are playing with mom and aunty CoCo

Puppies eating a dozen scrambled eggs and 2 cups of full fat cottage cheese! They’re always starving in the morning bc their last meal everyday is between 4 and 5 (they have water 24/7). You’ll be able to maintain the housebreaking I’m doing if you schedule meals appropriately.

We’re now in the grind it out stage of puppy raising… not much sleep bc they’re so much more active! The idea is that I lose sleep now so you don’t have to later!

Our puppies are raised underfoot! So, what does that mean? Well these darlings are not quite 6 weeks old. They were born in my house and have always been in my house. From three weeks old, they have been taken outside no matter the weather to potty. They’ve been well fed, kept clean, dry and warm. They’ve been cuddled and loved, corrected and socialized by us, each other, and especially by their mother! Oh and BTW, they come when they’re called 🧨

Sorry for the lack of posts… I’ve been sick as a dog 😬.

Here’s Ruby, the star of today’s show:

This is Ruby (5 weeks!) p**ping outside while it’s drizzIing rain. I bring them outside rain, sleet, or snow, thunder, etc, and they will go outside no matter the weather. Ofc they will be fluffed and dried once they come back in… Fortunately, for us, we live out in the country far enough to where our neighbors love to take target practice, shooting their fi****ms on occasion. As a result, these puppies will be much less upset about fireworks!

These puppies are raised underfoot and I am extremely proud of them!

Woke up, ate all they wanted, drank all they wanted, played all they wanted, and soon falling asleep sitting up!

Hard to hold the camera and clap at the same time, so heres the point of this video… when i set the food or goats milk down for them, i clap 3 times. Just like when they p*e or p**p, i say ‘hurry up.’ These commands will work for the rest of their lives if you maintain them for a couple of months after you get your baby home.

So, i set the food and drink down, and clap 3 times. They will associate 3 claps as meaning food has arrived, and they will forever come running when you clap 3 times! This simply further illustrates how VITAL these early days are for every puppy!!!

Geez, a dog that p**ps and p*es on command on a quick stop while traveling, and a dog that runs back to you at the sound of clapping… wouldn’t that be nice?

Annie (Dam), CoCo, Jack, and the Fabulous Four playing together. Looks dangerous but all is well. These lil ones are learning how to behave around other dogs (socialization). So important!
