Back to reality isn’t easy sometimes! What an incredible Spring Break with my sweet fam!
No phone service for a week means I’m still catching up. 😬 I’m going to try and be as accommodating as I can- but I also have an amazing education opportunity at the end of March in Barcelona 👏👏👏so it will be a bit crunchy at times.

I’m so excited to get my hands in some hair this week.

This is my second year at “Hair By Jenni” 🤯

I didn’t set any major resolutions or extreme goals. But I have spent a lot of time thinking about what inspires me and how I want to continue to be inspired and inspire others. 🥰

A huge inspiration for me is education. I have been so lucky to have some of the best education all over the country. And I will continue to take local and digital courses.
But this year, I wanted MORE 🤔. I’m fascinated by culture and travel and I’m excited to learn about the hair and beauty culture in other parts of the world. 🇪🇸 This year and I are stepping up our education game in April. ✈️!

I cannot wait to share with you all what we learn and experience as we tour salons, take classes, and build new global relationships! 👏👏👏

It’s so frigid 🥶 outside. So I will just drop this here to spice 🌶️ things up 🤪!

Can I be real 😳?

One of the reasons I don’t post as much is that I don’t feel like I’m good at the photography part….

I struggle when the photo doesn’t look the way it is in real life. You can’t capture the bounce, the smile on the face of the person wearing it, and the fun we had in the time creating it.
I also struggle with the fact that the sun goes down at like 5pm and I can’t get the lighting right when I need it. 😫
Here’s one example- I took the first photo in the studio. And it looks good. I like it. But it didn’t have the WOW 🤩 factor it has in real life. I would have been disappointed to post it, it felt flat compared to what it really looks like. But I was lucky that it was daylight, and my dear friend would humor me and let me open the door and get some sunlight. It was a game changer. Nailed it 🔨 finally captured the true beauty 💓💕

I am 🌟READY 🌟 for this new year!

✨I don’t really do “resolutions”- but
I do ❤️LOVE a fresh start. And I ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE LOVE LOVE reflection and goals!

I had an 💫 incredible 2022. I did some of the best hair of my whole career, deepened my relationships with my guests and friends. I enjoyed more family time and travel. It was amazing!

But I’m ready for some refocus. I have some awesome education planned, some new products, fresh inspiration from some of my coworkers. (And of course more travel ✈️ and family 💓)

I also want to get back to here 🤪 I miss feeling connected to you guys outside of the studio. I want to take more photos 📸, ask more questions & polls, & share more transformations. Here we go #2023
