"I'm Bobert, I'm a junior and an assistant captain for the Hoosier Daddy's, where I play as a handler. I've been playing frisbee for 7 years (Holy s---). My one goal is to have fun and not suck!
The ultimate frisbee community as a whole means the world to me. I would not have made it a semester through college without these lads.
Wilmette is just north of Chicago by the way, for some of you common folk."

We are back again with another Player Spotlight! This week is freshman Aidan Kern-Kensler!
"I play as a cutter on the Moms.
My goal as a frisbee player is to help the Mamas reach Nationals, hopefully multiple times! I also wish to make a major club team some day.
As a member of the Mamas, one of the most elite ultimate frisbee teams in the region, I have the ability to play an extremely high level of ultimate with my exceptionally talented teammates. On the Mamas, I am improving my play more than any other period in my life, working towards my true potential as a player. But most importantly, I get to play the sport I love almost every single day."

Blood, sweat, tears. All of this and more was left on the field at regionals last week. Now we keep pushing and come back stronger

Welcome to the first weekly "Player Spotlight"! This week is 5th year O-Line player Conner Henderson!

"I’m a Captain on the HoosierMama?s, who plays both cutter and handler. More often than not, I’m a handler, but I like to play downfield when I have the chance.

I have multiple goals associated with frisbee. The main one is to make it to both college and club nationals at some point in my life. But other than that, I use frisbee to develop life skills like leadership, overcoming adversity, and dedication to a cause.

Being on the Mama?s means I get to be around like-minded people, all focused on similar goals. I push others and they push me. I value opportunities that make me feel involved in something bigger than myself—achieving goals, pushing the boundaries of what I think is possible, and building community—all of which the Mama?s give me."

Sorry for not updating everyone on the EQ games this weekend. After being seeded #21 out of 24 teams, the Mama?s break seed by 17 placing 4th in the tourney!! Great weekend! Looks like there’s a new team in the books ready to take your ranking 🤔

The team travels X/Y this weekend to Wisconsin to participate in No Wisconsequences! Wish us some luck, can't wait to see what the rookies can do against some high caliber opponents!

Hello Fellow Athletes,

Tonight from 5:30-7:30, we are hosting our first ultimate frisbee team practice/tryout on the Woodlawn Fields. Those are the fields located directly next to the HPER and across the street from the Union. They are huge and in the middle of campus; you can't miss them.

Anyone who is interested in trying out for the A team, or playing with the B team for this season is welcome to come out and play some ultimate with us. There will be players of all skill levels and athletic abilities, so anyone who is even slightly interested is encouraged to come out and have a great time.

Please remember to bring a water bottle (there is a station to fill them up on site), cleats if you have them, a white shirt and a dark shirt for teams, and anything else you may need. We will be providing all the frisbees. We are looking forward to getting to meet and talk with everyone later today and I can't wait to get out on the fields later today!
