Did you hear???? Robin Hood is officially open!!!!! Want a sneak preview? Here’s a small rehearsal clip of an original song!!!! Sound up!!!!

This beloved Sidekick memory was apparently caught on tape!!!!! If you go to a lot of live theater, interruptions sometimes happen. From audience members yelling at actors to actors forgetting their lines and scenery mishaps…it’s just part of the gig. But the audience at this particular show got quite the scolding from a little pup named Bardo… check it out!

We were saving this spoiler until after the run was complete…. The kids who attended our talk-back were so curious about how Dizzy got down the chimney we thought we’d show our big secret. Did your little have questions??? This video is taken from backstage, and there’s a glimpse of the secret opening into the fireplace that’s completely invisible to the audience. From the back it looks so simple, but it’s all in the angle!!! Our elf would position herself high up, and then appear to jump down, as if she were falling from the chimney!!! It’s no less magical even when you know how it works!!! It’s a simple illusion, but fun for our actors to do, and even more fun for audiences to guess how we did it.

Our lobby is so festive this time of year!!! Just HAD to share the stained glass and sparkles!!!

In a WORLD where elves have taken over the workplace, ONE man strives to change his luck.... through footwear!!!!! Elves and the Shoemaker runs through December 28th, and we have a performance THIS Sunday! Just to be able to be doing live theatre again fills us with so much joy. We are very grateful for your continued support of our theatre. And if you have supported ANY local theatre through this time, you have our sincere thanks!!!

Sound up for the sounds of another happy audience!!!! Elves and the Shoemaker runs through the 28th!

Do you have any TOTALLY random skills no one’s ever asked you to use??? Pete Colburn wowed us with his tap dance skills…

One more performance of "Man In Black" to go - (Thursday @ 1pm) We decided to release a few extra tickets to this one...don't miss it! We've got room for you! sidekicktheatre.com/tickets
