None of us are one-dimensional and have many passions so lets share, encourage and explore together.

This stretch is no joke. Get your foot-stretch "ON" and I promise you will be walking on clouds after.
If you get in this position and it feels too much, try leaning forward on your palms to take the weight off your feet a bit. Fifteen to 30 seconds is all you need to noticing a difference with every step.

Did you know that Quinoa is one of the only plant foods that contains all essential amino acids? It is extremely low in fat, but the fat that is present is almost all essential fatty acids (Omega - 3) which help to promote fat burning and help keep you feeling full longer. So it's a win all around.
Just about a cup a day is almost 20% of the daily recommended allowance of fiber too.
Add quinoa to your salads, chili, veggie burgers and veggie stir-fry. Also makes a great rice substitute.

Early morning quiet time has become so delicious. I look forward to this time every night before bed because it makes me feel cozy, focused, and ready for the day.
I have to admit that this routine didn't come easy. It was an on-and-off-again process for a few weeks, but once I got it down to a daily habit, the payback was pretty immediate. I think in this world of so much visual overload and stimuli, it is vital to have quiet time and allow yourself to focus inward. Perhaps this is what I enjoy most about this time of the day I have set aside, just time to close my eyes with alertness to my thoughts. This is when I notice me and my continual growth along my journey.

Working my way out of a little weight gain and wow, what a tasty way to get back into healthy. I'm doing my due diligence to get back in the swing of things and am so excited at the colors on my plate lately.
Try this tasty leafy green in salads or sautéed up with other veggies... or even in a smoothie.

Circadian rhythms are physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow a 24 hour cycle. This natural process response is primarily to light and dark and affects most living things.
Natural factors in our body produce Circadian rhythms one of which produces melatonin, a hormone that makes you sleepy. However, changes in our body and environmental factors can cause our Circadian rhythms and the natural light - dark cycle to be out of sink. Some changes can cause sleep disorders, obesity, diabetes, depression, and bipolar disorder.
A great example of your biological clock would be experienced with Jetlag. Your body will reset but it might take a few days to align with the new time zone..

It is suggested to get your car Circadian rhythms in alignment you should do the following:
1. Wake up before the sun
2. Exercise
3. Eat a healthy breakfast
4. Be sure to move throughout the day
5. Eat a robust lunch and a light dinner
6. Avoid electronic and lights as much as possible at night.
7. Go to bed early for a deep steady sleep

Let’s rise and shine early enough to watch the sun’s brilliance light the sky and let the sunset be calming and soothing to let us rest soundly throughout the night ☺️

Okay ya know when you’re tossing and turning and finally land in that position that is just so perfect?? Well this is a pose that gets me every time. It feels good all over and instantly relaxes me. The support of the pillow helps the stretch be gentle and soothing.

I feel like the smell of ginger makes me feel healthy. I love it and I am thrilled that it is so good for me. My nephew Jimmy drinks a crazy large shot of ginger every morning. I recently threw one down the hatch with him and let it do it's wonderful burn all the way down.
Now that I am home and can control the amount of ginger in my morning juice, I tend to mix it other veggies and fruits but always letting the ginger shine.
I downloaded a free Super Foods Cookbook from and it is wonderful. It's full of information and the recipes are delish. I'm in love with the Ginger Carrot Soup and the Crispy Tofu Stir-Fry with Garlic & Ginger Sauce recipes.

Went for a walk yesterday and soaked up the goodness of just being outside. I've been reading a lot about the blue zones the last year or so and found that most people living happily over 90 are just moving. So get outside and move... go for a walk or take a bike ride... just move 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️ 🌞
