True sisterhood is nurtured in an atmosphere of social and moral responsibility, respect for one another, and loyalty to the principles of higher education and the sorority. That is why the focus of LTA’s National campaign of 2023 is "Empowered to Prevent Hazing".

We are recognizing to bring awareness to this issue facing students. National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW), organized by the Hazing Prevention Network, is an opportunity for communities, institutions, organizations, and individuals work together to raise awareness and educate against hazing.

Every year sisters from all around come together to meet, learn and celebrate at the LTA National Convention.

Our very own Suseli Tomas (SP 19, #2), Michelle Rivas (SP21, #1), and Brianna Reyes (SP21, #2) ventured to Baltimore to create memories of a lifetime.

It was amazing to meet so many sisters around country, to celebrate our lovely sisterhood and the achievements of all sisters and chapters around the nation. It was truly a weekend filled with unity, love, and respect.

Our very own Yaxmira Morales just finished her term as Governor for the FAU Broward campus🎉

During her time Governor Morales upheld initiatives started by Governor Del Valle such as the Financial Literacy Events and the free Period Products for students and even extended the Free Period Projects onto the Dania Beach Campus. Her team created more cultural events this year than we’ve had since COVID.

Your hard work doesn’t go unseen Yaxi! We are proud of everything you’ve done and continue to do as the leader you are❤️🌴

Standards of Accreditation and Excellence (SOAE) is a program designed to ensure all chapters are meeting minimum requirements across eight categories and to highlight individual chapter achievements that best promote our core values, integrity, leadership and empowerment, throughout the fraternity & sorority community at FAU🦉

The Gamma Iota Chapter is please to have worked hard and achieve both Leadership Excellence & Sisterhood Excellence. With the dedication from our undergraduate memebers and the help from our alum, Gamma Iota continues to influence young women in finding their path to help the underserved Hispanic community❣️
