SCAM ALERT ********* FOR TRUCKERS, OWNER OPERATORS, CARRIERS. BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES

I want to make everyone aware of these companies that fraudulently targeted my logistics company AMM Transportation via a delivery order.

On December 9, 2021, IGGY Transportation Services ordered a load to be picked up from
Beachside Produce, LLC.
Church Brothers Farms
Dandy Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
The Salad Farm LLC in Holtville, CA to be delivered to:
Bartolotta LLC, and Carbonella & Desarbo Inc in Branford, CT.

We agreed on a rate of $10,800 with a 40% fuel advance once the shipment was loaded. So, we sent a truck and picked it up. The pickup was completed on 12/11/21 IGGY had agreed to a 40% fuel advance but they gave only 19% ($2,000) once pickup was completed, this is the first sign of a rogue, fraudster broker.

My company AMM Transportation successfully delivered in Branford, CT on 12/15/21. The goods were declared damage-free and accepted. Then Chad from IGGY Transportation Services claimed we delivered late and has refused to pay the $8,800 invoice. However, no delivery date was specified, not verbally or in writing.

Additionally, he raised a freight guard alert for our company suggesting we’re an unethical business and posted all sorts of horrible events and lies about things that simply never happened. This has cost me over $40,000 in lost business so far, in addition to their outstanding balance of $8,800.

Further investigation revealed there’s a relationship between this rogue broker and receiver. These rogue fraudsters find it easy to destroy the little guys, especially the ones just starting out and it ruins their lives. This broker and their clandestine partner do business under numerous food wholesaler and broker names. They target Latino and African American logistics companies with this scam, particularly if they have a new MC number.

Iggy Transportation Services, LLC. also does business as Atlantic Fresh Trading, Cherokee Truck Brokers, LLC, & Bartolotta LLC.

Atlantic Fresh Trading – one of numerous recently acquired companies by Grub Market, Cherokee Truck Brokers LLC, William Rosenstein & Sons Co., Bartolotta LLC*, South Carolina Division Cherokee Truck Brokers LLC, Wholesale Fruit & Produce Arizona Division, Cherokee Truck Brokers LLC, Pennsylvania Division Cherokee Truck Brokers LLC, among many others.

*Bartolotta LLC (its real name is Bartolotta, INC) - was issued a discontinuance by FMCSA on 10/04/2013, and on 10/13/2015 it was marked as Revocation.

This fraud is making it impossible for me to pay insurance, payroll, fuel, and other company expenses. This company is all I have and I’ve invested everything in it. The lies and insane stories about this load are probably going to put me out of business and leave me on the hook for leases and tractors/trailers I’ve personally guaranteed.

Unfortunately, Carrier411.com (FreightGuard) refuses to remove IGGY’s bogus complaint and is aiding and abetting in this horrific scheme, which is quickly going to put my company under. Of course, I’m in the process of filing complaints with Attorney General Josh Shapiro, Ripoff Report, Hispanic Association of Small Businesses, Latin Business Association, Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), African-American Chamber of Commerce of Central PA (AACCCP), Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Covington & Burling LLP, Benesch, Norton Rose Fulbright, Reminger Co., LPA, Sidley Austin LLP (Official), the BBB in Scranton PA along with filing a lawsuit against IGGY Transportation Service.

I want others, particularly minority-owned logistics companies, to watch out for these rogue broker and food wholesaler names and protect themselves against this type of rogue broker fraud.
