Here is the menu for Summer of 2023!

All cupcakes and cookies are priced for one dozen.
Sorbet equals about one quart.

Everything I sell is meticulously priced by calculating the cost of ingredients and my labor. If the ingredients are expensive, the price goes up. Other items are available at an additional cost of $5 for ordering off-menu. Delivery options may be available for an additional charge.

For the month of July, the nonprofit I have chosen will be Canine Champions for Veterans. This organization helps provide service dogs to veterans who are struggling with mental conditions such as PTSD, and other physical disabilities. They are based out of Pocatello, Idaho.

In July, 10% of the proceeds from every baked good will go to Canine Champions for Veterans!

Hello and welcome to my new little project that I am calling "Kitchen Kindness"!

If you don't know me already, my name is Emma Farrar, and I have been a young, single mother with a hobby for baking and a passion for community involvement and well being. It was not that long ago that I was incredibly reliant on my local community, having been served an eviction notice with less than a week to organize a place to live for myself and my then one year-old son. We were fortunate enough to find a lovely women and children's shelter to stay in, and thus I began to truly understand the power of community and the strength it can provide to an individual.

Through the charity that was afforded to us by the women and children's shelter, I was able to get back on my feet and, essentially, learn how to be an adult. I found a stable place to live, graduated from college, and got my first job. However, I've now come to realize the personal importance to me that I am able to stay home with my son and guarantee he receives the attention and care that only a mother can provide.

And so my "Kitchen Kindness" is born out of a desire to stay home with my son and afford to do so. Of course, I would never be the woman and mother I am today without the power of community, so I am dedicated to giving back as much as I am able. That is why I have decided that, to start, every month I will dedicate 10% of the proceeds from every sale at Kitchen Kindness to a nonprofit of choice, mostly to local charities and organizations.

Together, we can all lift each other up with the power of freshly-baked goods and a little bit of kindness.
