Finally catching up on some posting and came across these gems while we were touring Devil’s Tower last month! ⛰️👹
Native American legends told of a tower that grew tall to protect tribesmen from giant bears that would claw at the side of the tower - these “claw marks” can still be seen on the sides of the tower today! 🐻 Truly, this tower was a sight to be behold and was a huge highlight to our roadtrip! ✨

Well I didn’t expect it to rain as much as it did this morning, but the overcast weather matched the cloudy skies the day we hit up 🏔️ This was my first road trip passing through the Tetons and it was simply breathtaking…😌

I’ve made it a personal mission to try out as many boba tea shops in the as possible and Dolphin Tea was definitely at the top of my list! ✅ The cafe aesthetic was also perfect for taking cute photos! 📸
I typically go for a standard black milk tea with boba myself, however this time we opted for the taro milk tea (the kind that isn’t purple) in addition to a regular black milk tea - can you guess which one was which? 🤎🖤

Happy friends from the first In-n-Out to open in Idaho! 🤩 I can remember talking to friends and family about this moment years ago and now that it’s finally here, we had to make our way over there! ✨
Wait times get shorter every day, but I do recommend going between lunch and dinner time before traffic picks up! For a shorter wait, go in person - they have gas-powered heaters and the wait is about 30-45 minutes to get inside!🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

I about died when I saw this adorable turtle loaf from and knew I had to have it! 🐢❤️
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried the sourdough loafs from Boudin and it’s honestly one of the best bakeries when it comes to good sourdough bread. Ever since I was little, my family and I would make a point to bring home a big loaf from Boudin to enjoy at home in Idaho! 🥖
The quality has not changed as far as I can tell and the animal loaves just get cuter and cuter! Cheers to the weekend, friends! 👏

Happy friends! 🐪 If you’ve ever taken a walk in the North End, you might have noticed these little landing libraries scattered around the neighborhood! 📚
I remember first seeing these when I started going out for walks at the start of the COVID pandemic. Not only are you allowed to take some books, but you can also leave some behind when you’re done reading them!✨
More recently, I’ve seen seed libraries like this one where neighbors can swap seeds as well as books! It’s exciting to see more and more of these libraries popping up everywhere! 🌱📚

If your allergies were already going crazy, a trip to the rose garden at Julia Davis Park have you sneezing, but leave you in total awe! 🌹✨
Walking through the rose gardens is one of my favorite past times…😌It really serves as a form of therapy on stressful days of the week! There’s nothing better than a gentle breeze, met with the smell of roses and the sounds of water fountains! 🌹💧💨

Do you like beignets? If you do, I know one of the best places in Boise! These little puppies were sprinkled in powdered sugar and served with a buttery spread.😋 We also shared a “John Wayne Breakfast,” which including all the fixings in a classic breakfast/brunch!✨
But be warned, at Moon’s - be sure to go in starving because you can expect BIG, BIG portions! 🤤 You can also appreciate the western decor and hilarious quotes all over the restaurant walls! 🤠

It’s Friday and nothing says like freshly picked fruit from your friend’s apricot tree! 🧡
I’ve always enjoyed fresh fruit while growing up! Instead of ice cream or candy, my mom would cut up different fruits for my siblings and me, and serve it to us as dessert. 🍌🍓🍎
What I love about living in Idaho is after a 30-45 minute drive, you suddenly enter farmland where there are orchards and fields to pick fresh fruit and vegetables! From strawberries to apples or pumpkins to corn, there’s always something in season to pick in Idaho! 😌

This was our first time picking strawberries last week and we went a little crazy! It’s easy: Using your own container and after paying the $7 admission fee, you can pick 7 lbs of strawberries for $3.50 per lb. Each successive 7 lbs after will decrease by $0.50. Additionally, your $7 admission is credited toward the total cost of your strawberries! 🍓
For reference we picked about 12-13 lbs per container! Oh and a pro tip: Be sure to bring CASH to avoid the 5% fee using a credit card! 💵
Now get out there and do some pickin’ - we’ve got our eye on raspberries and blackberries next!😉

Today is and I finally got to try these tasty pre-built meals from 👏
I’ve always had the hardest time controlling how much I eat particularly since establishing a fitness regime this year. What I appreciated about these meals was that they were portioned and well-balanced by including basic food groups. Not to mention they were very tasty! 🥩🥬🍞
And the fun part was I got to pick out which protein, carb, and veggie I wanted for each bowl (with the expection of the “Fiesta Bowl” which was a pre-built option). This means there were endless possibilities to what you can build! 👀
If you’re looking for a way to start eating clean that won’t leave you bored or tired of eating the same old thing, give a try! Did I mention they also serve meals deli-style if you’re stopping buy for a quick lunch? 😋
