BIG news! π¨

I am WAY TOO EXCITED to share my newest sweet treat!
Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cream Piesππβ¨
I took a bite of one to test them and was overwhelmed with joy and a sense of cozy fall vibes. I couldn't take a second bite without calling my husband and sister to tell them that I just about fell over at how delicious these cookies are!
They are made with grass fed browned butter, sourdough, and pumpkin spice buttercream made from scratch.
Oh, and each one of these bad boys is over 1/4 pound. π
Available at Crockett Street Trading Company @ noon today and for preorder through 10/31. π
π¨NEW PRODUCTπ¨
Fudgey sourdough brownies are now available at Crockett Street Trading Company π
These brownies are made with organic cacao, grass fed butter, organic sugars, organic flour, and a generous helping of sourdough!
Fresh baked bread and cookies are in stock as well! ππͺπ
Happy shopping! βΊοΈ
Making sourdough isn't just about bread for me. It tickles that science loving part of my brain, and is an artistic outlet. I love every single bit of sourdough, and am so happy to share this journey with all of you! π
I decided to try Melia June's cheese spread and ranch dip a couple weeks ago and cannot stop thinking about it! π
You guys..... π€― I had to go back and get a second ranch for my daughter just a few days later.
Now, it's all gone and I'm just over here dreaming of this cheese spread. π₯Ή
Melia June's is a sister company of Moon Brake Clay - both can be found at Crockett Street Trading Company and are made with abundant love and attention by Teri Taylor Walker.
Much like Honey Bee's, Melia June's uses high quality ingredients to make a product that is free from extra junk found in common supermarket food products.
Check it out! You won't regret it! ππ§
Fresh sourdough and cookies dropped off at Crockett Street Trading Company πͺππ
We really wanted to do a family movie night with the kiddos, but it's a weeknight which means time is limited.
I whipped up a real quick dinner to accommodate, and everyone enjoyed it!
I baked this loaf of sourdough yesterday along with the boules I dropped off in store. I toasted it on the skillet after scrambling the eggs tonight and it was perfect! ππ³π₯
Now for some Inside Out 2! β¨
ππͺπ
You can now find Honey Bee's π at Crockett Street Trading Company π
I dropped off a few fresh baked boules of traditional sourdough and browned butter sourdough chocolate chip cookies this afternoon! πͺ
I'm so excited and grateful for the opportunity to share something my family has loved with the community. π
I hadn't baked at all with our kitchen renovations, and then got back at it pretty slow once everything was complete.
I forgot how good these dang cookies are! π€―
These will be available at Crockett Street Trading Company starting Tuesday afternoon, and available for delivery throughout the week as well!
Message me to order, or checkout the shop downtown! πͺ
We are here at Crockett Street Trading Company β¨
Come on in and try the best cheese spread and ranch dip I've ever had in my life - paired with some tasty sourdough! ππͺ
Teri Taylor Walker and I will be here until 2!
Dips, boules, and cookies are available for purchase!
Honey Bee's is making its firstπ₯public appearance tomorrow at Crockett Street Trading Company π along with Melia June's!
I will have traditional sourdough to try (and a few extra loaves to buy!) some fantastic browned butter sourdough chocolate chip cookies πͺ and fudgey sourdough brownies! β¨
Come check it out from 10-2 to try some baked goods, spreads, and dips!
I've made so much focaccia these last few weeks trying to finalize my own recipe. These loaves will be going to my husband's boss for some honest feedback tomorrow. If they reheat well and are a success, focaccia will be available in August! π
I was a bit overzealous to get back to baking and forgot that my middle child has an appointment in Dallas this week so I won't be here to prep orders on Friday for a Saturday delivery. π«£
Soooooo..... NEXT WEEK will be the week! In the meantime, here is my first attempt at sourdough hamburger buns πwhich had the consistency of a bagel.
Not everything is a raging success. π€£
It's absolutely NOTHING like store bought bread. I love it so much!
Both boys woke up and had toast for breakfast, and my daughter had a sandwich. This is the bread that will be baked the most in our house now, I can tell! π
I love making boules. It's a lot more hands on and there's an art to it. But honestly nothing beats this sandwich bread. ππ»
I can't wait to slice into this beautiful loaf of sandwich bread tomorrow! π
If it's a success, sourdough sandwich loaves will be available next week. π
Our kitchen renovations went from fixing one cabinet and the sink, to a full blown kitchen remodel. It was a bigger renovation and a longer time frame than I anticipated, but it is finally done! π
I have a sink and a dishwasher again, and we converted our sunroom into a dedicated workspace for the bakery which means Bread Sheeran is back in business, fueling these loaves with wild yeast once again!
I am taking orders for traditional boules only this week, delivery/local pickup available on Saturday morning! π
Orders must be placed and paid for by tonight at midnight.
I will post next week's menu on Sunday! β¨
It's been two weeks since I made my last post. We still don't have a kitchen sink, but there is light at the end of the tunnel!
In the meantime, sandwiches have been an easy thing to feed my exceptionally picky eaters.
I went to the new Aldi today to check it out and saw sliced sourdough.
Now... I knew it wasn't going to be legit sourdough, but I bought it anyways because we needed bread and momma can't bake π
You guys.... It has added yeast π
The type of yeast used is literally the MAIN difference between conventional bread and sourdough.
Plus look at all the other ingredients π₯΄ I'm happy people who maybe otherwise couldn't afford bakery bread have a cleaner option... But just don't call it sourdough. π«£
In just under two weeks I should be filling my house with the smell of fresh baked bread again where all that's added is:
πFlour
πWater
πSourdough starter (wild yeast!)
πSalt
And the loaves will *actually* be made in small batches.
One of the last things I baked. Sourdough blueberry muffins with a crumble topping. It feels like forever! π«
My kitchen is closed for much needed repairs. We don't have a kitchen sink or dishwasher so we aren't cooking ANYTHING right now. π
My husband has also been building me a dedicated workspace for the bakery in our sunroom! βοΈ I'm thrilled with how it's coming along! When we are finished, there will be no overlap between the bakery and our family kitchen when it comes to food prep. It will be complete with a separate pantry, fridge, storage, and island! ππ»
I don't know how long it will be until my kitchen is fully operational, but once it is I've got big plans for our tiny operation. Soon enough I'll have dough rising again. π₯
Scoring bread is one of my favorite things to do! I love trying new designs.
The process is quite peaceful, and feels like a little pop of art added to my day.
Even though I know what it should look like, I am always so pleased when I pop the lid off of my dutch oven to see how the tiny cuts opened up into a beautiful design.β¨
Lemon blueberry sourdough scones! ππ«β¨
My momma bought me the cutest little gnomes we found at the thrift store today.
I could have passed up a regular gnome, but these honey bee gnomes were too sweet!
I have enjoyed having her in town to visit, and will miss her when she heads home tomorrow. π
I baked scones for breakfast before church this morning. I was back in the bedroom and heard my husband say, "oh my gosh. Have you tried these scones?! They are incredible. Those are the best scones ever."
My mom responds, "I don't like scones, and really don't care for chocolate much anymore." *She then tries one to be polite* "These are the best scones I've ever had in my life."
The day isn't over and not a single scone remains. π€π»
Milk chocolate sourdough scones. β¨
I love baking bread, but I might just love my family and friends enjoying a fresh loaf of sourdough even more.
Organic flour and no preservatives. π€π»
Focaccia may just be my favorite kind of bread I bake. π€©
I have a HUGE but SMALL favor to ask π₯ π π₯

Dinner tonight was beef stew with couscous and sourdough scones! β¨
I can't wait for y'all to try these scones!
My kids had built a fort around the kitchen table today. I asked them to put everything away. My middle kiddo not only cleaned up, but set the table for dinner when she was done. She even filled all of our glasses with water - sweet girl!
We had creamy mushroom and garlic chicken with sourdough muffins for dessert! β¨
