You can hear me yawn at the end of this video because I made it at midnight after working all day, but to good ends! It’s been a long and intensive process to get my new atelier up and running. First off, last summer, the place was in terrible condition because it had been left that way by the former tenant. And the Guild had to renovate. They were so gracious to do this for me. But then came the next steps of getting all of my pieces installed, the new merchandise, my industrial sewing machines, everything! And even I discovered that there was a beautiful hardwood floor under the wall-to-wall carpet, so I tore up the carpet myself and I’m refinishing the floors. There’s so much going on here, but now it’s basically finished and ready for you! And I’m so excited that people are starting to come in more regularly as walk-ins and new appointments. I’ve had such a nice visitors so far. And last night after finishing up in the production space, it felt so good to see all my work come to fruition. I’m really looking forward to receiving you here in person and working with you! Come enjoy the music with me, and the art, and make your fashion dreams come true.
