Went to get a facial on a whim for some self care this Saturday. My esthetician was so nice and afterwards she told me I have the best skin she’s seen in years. I was legit blown away because as you can see on the right, that is what my skin looked like just about 2.5 years ago. It got progressively worse as the pandemic went on and this was definitely one of my worst days. I had been off of birth control and got an IUD about a year prior, the first thing that caused my skin to start freaking out. Then, during COVID, I had to wear & reuse an N95 mask for 12+ hours straight at work for months. I was miserable, stressed, depressed, had extremely low self-esteem and was at a loss. I was spending hundreds of dollars on new skincare to no avail. Finally, I went to see a dermatologist and I was put on spironolactone and various topical medications. These medications combined with better habits, eventually leaving that particular job, good ole Prozac and just treating myself better led me to now. I got emotional today because me (and my skin) have come such a long way. I was beautiful then and I’m beautiful now, it just took me a while to realize it. Sorry for the lengthy post, but this is a reminder to myself and others that it will get better ❤️‍🩹

Had the best time in Telluride, CO this weekend! I got to do makeup and laugh the whole time with my favorite people, what more could you ask for?

Also started using disposable adhesive clear palettes for mixing and they were so convenient! Always trying new ways to apply makeup while being sanitary👍🏻
