ATT: Parts orders
Some Parts are on Block if not avaliable at local warehouse they need to come to our local warehouse before they can be shipped to the dealer! If you need an emergency order we can try and contact Volvo but it is not a guarantee. If you want a parts list of blocked parts. Please message me and I Will provide it.

When Stock Order Referrals were launched, we mentioned that exclusions could apply.
“Volvo has the right to block parts from order referral. Reasons for making a part non-referable
include but are not limited to: campaign parts, parts with supply disruption, parts requiring special
transportation, etc. The retailer will see the Exception Code 98 for non-referable parts.”
We have since realized that simply having the exception code 98, non-referrable parts, does not
provide enough visibility to the parts department. While we work on a systematic solution for
notification, we will begin posting a referral block list on Mondays.
The decision to use the referral block is based on the following factors:
 Inbound replenishment for high volume parts are not arriving at all DCs at the same time –
Therefore, allowing referrals would throw off the balance of planned stock around the network
and negatively impact facing fill.
 A specific part is prone to high damage rates when shipped as a referral.
 Special circumstances regarding availability (recall/campaign parts, constraints, allocations,
etc.)
A list of the affected parts will be updated and posted weekly on Mondays, with the exception of
holidays when the posting will be on the next business day.
Please note: When in use, the referral blocking function applies to all order types (stock and critical).

Shipping Updated Friday, January 14 Due to the explosive surge of COVID-19 OMICRON, FedEx revised their suspension of FedEx Express Freight (air freight) and International Economy Freight (air freight), these services are now suspended indefinitely. We are working with other providers to ensure orders continue to ship and to minimize disruption to service. You can expect shipping and delivery delays for referral orders on large/bulk/fragile parts (sheet metal, windshields, bumper covers, etc.)

Good afternoon! Quick update on shipping from Fedex.

Shipments made Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6

FedEx has issued a service alert due to the winter storm impacting the Memphis area as well as most of the east coast. Any packages shipped with FedEx on Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6 will see delays in delivery.

Express Air Freight Delays

Additionally, due to the impact of Covid on staffing, including flight crews, FedEx will not be accepting Express Air Freight shipments until Monday, January 10. This means that any referral order shipments for large/bulky/fragile parts like sheet metal, windshields, bumper covers, etc. (parts which we normally ship 2-day air) will not ship until Monday, January 10.

For orders impacted by the Express Air Freight, that will not ship until January 10, dealers will not see tracking numbers until Monday, January 10. These parts may show in R, U or P status until Monday, January 10. These orders will not ship until Monday, January 10 with a delivery date of Wednesday, January 12.

Good morining! Just a quick update, Parts Distribuition Centers for Volvo will be closed Friday 12/31/2021 No Orders will be Processed That day. Thank you for understanding!
