I am excited to finally announce the arrival of my new Photography store where you can see the full range of my work.
Excited to share all my photos from JVS’s 2023 annual report. This organization as their mission statement says (JVS’s mission is to empower individuals from diverse communities to find employment and build careers, while partnering with employers to hire, develop, and retain productive workforces.) has helped thousands of new immigrants find training and work. Always wonderful to work with them.
My newest camera and lenses found on the streets of Providence. Just need to find film! Anyone know what it is?
Wonderful to be photographing Pride in Boston again this year for Eastern Bank. Amazing group of people to be marching with. And the BEST bling ever!
Loving my knapsack, sunglasses and bandana!

Happy International Coffee Day. Reminded of the amazing women I met and photographed at the Gashonga coffee cooperative in the Lake Kivu region of Rwanda. These are part of an exhibit called Faces Behind Your Coffee showcasing images of the labor intensive world and work that goes into your morning cup of coffee. These women should be celebrated everyday!
Boston gardens walk at sunset. Love the serenity and community of our wonderful public parks.
Ok I know it a few months into April but I finally finished a small little Best of 2022 preview. Part 1 is non profits, portraits and travel. Enjoy! It’s been a fun year of working with some of my favorite clients.
Best of 2022 Non Profits, Portraits and Travel Meeting people from all walks of life brings me joy and fulfillment. Sharing these experiences through my photography is an honor. This year included events...
Portraits Anyone?
PORTRAITS ANYONE? Want to offer an employee incentive? Or gift?
What about offering a professional portrait session for everyone on your team or entire staff?
In this hybrid environment this might be just the motivation to get everyone to spend more time at the office.
And it’s a contribution to their professional development.
I am offering companies (and non-profits too!) the opportunity to hire me and an assistant to take professional headshots of all your staff on location at your office. I will bring the backdrops and lighting, you provide the location!
I did this recently at an organization in the downtown area. They hired me to do headshots of both the new ED and other senior management. Then it was opened up to their employees (around 150) and 60 signed up for time slots over the course of two days. They were amazed at how many people took them up on it, having an opportunity to have a professional headshot for themselves, their social media accounts in addition to having headshots available for organizational use.
Feel free to reach out and request a quote.

Once again I get to work with the amazing writer Linda Matchan on a Northshore Jewish Journal story. This one took us to Chelsea to the Walnut Synagogue. It's one of the oldest continuously operating synagogues in Massachusetts built in 1909. Between 1881 and the outbreak of World War I in 1914 nearly two million Jews freely abandoned the grinding poverty, anti-Semitism and pogroms of Russia and Eastern Europe to seek new lives in America. By 1910, the number of Jews in Chelsea had grown to slightly more than 11,000 or one-third of the total population. And by the 1930's it was 50%. One of the last remaining synagogues in Chelsea the interior was breathtaking. The ceiling handprinted and seating for over 1100! And as they say "Chelsea is not just a defined geographic space, but a state of mind". Stop by! Check out the story. This cover photo really shows what it's like inside.

The 3 Reds of the Eastern Townships, Quebec Just a mere 4 hours from Boston to Magog and other towns. Beautiful and closer then France!
Today marks the 50th anniversary of Shirley Chisholm’s historic entry into the U.S. House of Representatives, and in 1971 her run for President. I had the honor of photographing her early in my career in 1979 when she came to Boston to speak about her historic run. She was a dynamic force and filled the room with her energy and positivism. Imagine if she had been our first woman President!

Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, Morocco is an enchanted garden of brilliant colors in the heart of the city.
I wandered into the Jarden Majorelle while walking the streets of Marrakesh, not quite knowing where I was which is the best way to get to know this city. Around every corner I delighted in a new discovery. This garden was a respite form the frenzy of the city and I was lost in the brillance of the blues and yellows amongst the exotic plants, water lillies and lotus flowers.

Some of my most recent sales of both my photo tapestries and my travel photography printed on my favorite media, metal with a semi gloss finish. The surface and look is stunning. The tapestries looked great in a southern Florida condo. The Venice metal prints in a music room and a living room in Los Angeles. Thanks to everyone for all your support! Much appreciated.
Can’t wait to add more galleries to my new art store website.

Helping to tell your story
We all want to explore the world to help make sense of who we are and where we come from. I have been on this quest for the past 30 years documenting meaningful stories like the one in this photo above. These incredible women were widows from the genocide in Rwanda. They recreated themselves by banding together to grow coffee and other agriculture to support themselves in the Lake Kiva region. Telling their story has helped raise awareness and more financial support for their coffee. I continue to use my photography and words to tell these stories.
