America’s next superstar in the pool, Regan Smith, joins host, Carrie Tollefson, in an episode you don't want to miss. Now training under Bob Bowman with the Arizona State University professional training group, Regan holds an impressive track record at only 22 years old. She's a world junior record holder in the women's long course 100-meter backstroke and 200-meter backstroke, and competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, taking home a bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke, a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly, and a silver medal in the 4×100-meter medley relay.

Meet our new host of our first podcast series, Journey Together: Carrie Tollefson, an elite middle-distance runner hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota.
Carrie was born and raised in Dawson, Minnesota where she was a 13-time State Champion: eight in track and five in cross country. Her five cross country titles established a national record for most consecutive titles, which still stands to this day.
In her post-collegiate journey, she became a three-time national champion and represented the US in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Carrie was voted the Fourth Most Beautiful Athlete in the World by Sports Illustrated in 2006 and has graced the cover of numerous magazines, including Track & Field News, Running Times, and, most notably, five covers of Runner’s World.
She's also worked on-camera with ESPN, NBC, ABC, and more, has and has done commentary for several world class events, including the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, Boston Marathon, Tokyo Marathon and Foot Locker Nationals. Currently residing in Minnesota with her family, Carrie continues to make waves, recently clocking a 2:51:56 marathon at the 2019 Twin Cities Marathon. Talk about a resume!
