A MESSAGE FROM DANA
When I started at the original Walnut 36 years ago I was a young, energetic, passionate entrepreneur. Not really knowing it at the time, I just wanted to create a place where every customer, every employee and I could be myself. It took me a minute… but I think we nailed it. If you haven’t heard the big news, I’m officially announcing my retirement. I couldn’t be more proud to hand over the reigns to the new owners, Ariel & Ashley. These two women have been a part of the Walnut family for years and I know that they will ensure that both Walnut cafes remain a place rich in experience, love, and community. The Walnut Cafes will continue to be a community place where love and kindness come first -- A place where you can go to celebrate or grieve, be silly or be serious, everyone is welcome. I could never find the words to share all my gratitude but I do have a big hug for each and every one of you. I have had the time of my life!
