Joey Hassett is the Lead Sports Nutrition Coach at The Feed. Joey is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). Previously he has worked with collegiate athletes at the University of Missouri and UCCS - providing performance nutrition and culinary education.
Joey is an accomplished triathlete, cyclist, and runner with over 15 years of experience. A large portion of his year is spent racing bikes on the road, gravel, and trails throughout the US. In Joey's free time, he enjoys going on adventure rides, skiing, snowboarding, and cooking!

Today we have 51 athletes starting the English Channel Swim Challenge! They will have the month of December to swim the equivalent of the English Channel crossing. This comes out to approximately 21 miles (32,000 meters/36,960 yards) of swimming. Wish them luck as they tackle this challenge during one of the busiest months of the year!

Dixon recently raced IM Florida and raced to a sub 9:30 time, a PR of almost 50 minutes, but his season was not without it's challenges.
