Top 3 ways you can maintain the integrity of your natural curls with a silk press

1. Use an appropriate heat setting for your texture.
2. Layer your heat protectants. I like to use a water-soluble serum before blow drying and before I curl the hair. I also apply leave-in conditioner before blow drying the hair. Leave-in provides a barrier of protection.
3. Don’t “touch up” your hair with direct heat repeatedly once you get the initial silk press.
