Tried a new cup style tonight. Loving this!

Got my next cup started. This one is pretty already!

From start to finish. There would be a couple things I would change but it is a functional beautiful cup. If I did it over I would put the saying in a darker color because it is hard to read. I also forgot to glitter the bottom of the cup and have the tags on it yet. But I definitely have great cup making potential. :). A big thank you to those that helped me with the tumbler making as well as learning the cricut.

Today we are in Fond du Lac for their powwow. Of course in our normal fashion we were late but the weather is great and having a good time!

Need some input. I made my first pearl necklace. There are 3 freshwater natural pearls in the cage. The necklace is 16" and sterling silver. What would you all suggest for an asking price for this?

Edit: No 2 necklaces will be an exact match as they are all natural pearls.

Never would have thought that a hobby would expand and I would receive an award. Feels good that someone noticed!

However, I could not have done this without my family- kids have come with and helped, Rick joined a bit later and really paid attention to the details I overlooked. I certainly could not have done this alone.

Added a camper for our powwow tour this summer! First night in it at Cass Lake. Of course we rolled in late and are still putting final touches on the stand :)

The boys filled the wagon with chips and $1 candy and went on the move to sell and get their toys. Such little businessmen they are!

At one point tonight I yelled "Hey" at the boys and about 20 kids stopped what they were doing and answered me. That made me giggle.

Pretty warm tonight. Going to try out the camper shower tomorrow. Good night and see you out here!

Made this one with some leftover colors from another project. Really loving the color combination and the sparkle!

Setup in St Cloud. Being inside reminded me of when I started with one small table. In less than a years time it has expanded greatly, so many lessons learned, and loving all of the people I have met along the way.

Also today is the first day I danced in grand entry. The foster kids (since I can't name them) wanted to try it out so I went with. They gave me confidence to go with and I gave them the same. One question though, where do u put the asema that they give you going in to the arena? Lol. I'm trying to learn here please don't laugh to hard at that question.

So just a little update. We had some foster kids come to stay with us in the last few weeks. It has taken sometime to adjust for the whole family. My apologies if I haven't got back to you. Well we went to Ashland Wisconsin on Friday anticipating the Northland College powwow. Forecast looked good on Friday in the morning. Saturday morning we woke and it was overcast with imminent thunderstorms on the way. We went to the college and spoke with them about the situation. They still wanted us to set up outside for the day with the hopes of moving outside for the evening Grand Entry.

After discussing with Rick we thought maybe we would drive to Federal Dam and set up instead so we didn't have to fight the wind and the rain with the canopies. On our way back through we saw that it was also due for storms later that evening.

Instead of continuing to battle the weather we decided to work on other business aspects which includes making a light box for better pictures, buying some additional paints for the resin and regroup for the next one.

I also have a new set of shirts, actually long sleeved tshirts coming out but don't want to post until I have some ready for people to buy. But just know that I will have them to size 5xl! This is new and exciting for the business.

Also, if you are starting to think of holiday gifts and custom pieces please start your orders now as it may be tough to get all orders out when it comes closer to the Holidays!
