Highlights of the week!

🍹 We’re fully staffed! Our two day bar training was an absolute dream with the most amazing group of pals anyone could ask for. Can’t wait for you to meet the gang! Special thanks to Zach Hodge for being a titan of the field and refreshing us bozos on how to present tasty bevvies!

🍌 Our wet floor signs came in and oh my gosh they’re bananas. This job has lots of perks and owning these is at the top to be honest.

🍻Our draft beer system is in! Install sometime in the coming weeks topped out at ten lines. TEN.

Thanks for all the patience, support and kind words when we catch each other in public. The second round of inspections are all done so I’m pleased to report we’re moving into the last phase of the build out. It’s a Christmas miracle!

Hi All! Evangeline here!

I know we are all patiently awaiting an update regarding an opening date, let me tell you I am just as excited as you. Things are chugging along! Electrics are being installed, loos are being plumbed, coolers are being manufactured and at least one hockey game has already been watched on the tv. We’re getting closer one item at a time.

In an uncomfortable but loving show of honesty and transparency I would like to humbly inform all of you that my father passed away rather unexpectedly this past Labor Day weekend. As you may remember he owned the bar I grew up in, so it was a blow on many sides and not just the obvious orphanic front.

At the behest of many I have remembered to take time to care for myself now which I’m told will guarantee healthy success later. This has led to a slight delay in the forward momentum that was being exhibited by me in regards to logistics, phone calls and other daily must-be-doings. It’s been a delicate balance to stay sane enough to open a business alone in the first place, and an even greater test of constitution to do so while grieving. I am forever grateful for the support and help of friends who have already reached out to pick up the slack but MOST of all I appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. I cannot wait to fling open the doors for you.

I am still hoping and am quite optimistic of a late November date. You will all be the first to know I promise.

Midnight's to take on storied bar spot with new tales BRATTLEBORO — Midnight's, a new bar set to open in November in the space previously home to The Mole's Eye, is the brainchild of owner Evangeline Rera.
