Happy Kitsap Great Give Day!
Event Day Prizes
Generous Community Partner Sponsors support the Kitsap Great Give's "prize pool," offering fun incentive challenges to encourage donor participation in support of the Kitsap Great Give and to further benefit our community’s nonprofit organizations. Want to sponsor a prize? Call Tina O'Brien at (360) 698-3622.
All donations made via www.KitsapGreatGive.org, as well as other donations contributed through “offline” means, are eligible for the 5% bonus pool (up to the single gift cap of $5,000).
New this year, we are encouraging individuals to start Peer-to-Peer fundraisers for participating in Kitsap Great Give causes that they love. In both the small and large nonprofit categories, the individual fundraiser that brings the most unique donors to their campaign will have the ability to designate an additional $250 prize grant to the nonprofit of their choice!
Each prize category includes two (2) prizes: large organization (annual revenue of $100,000 or more) and small organization (annual revenue less than $100,000). Prizes are also now distributed between those that reward total dollars given or total donors participating, except for "Golden Tickets," which are randomly selected from donations made during the specified time periods between 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Nonprofits may win more than one prize; with the exception of Golden Tickets which are unduplicated. Please see the individual prize details below.
The prize structure has been adjusted to increase the potential for smaller organizations to win prizes and to mitigate the inherent advantage of larger nonprofit organizations who often have more developed abilities via dedicated fundraising staff and a larger pool of major gift donors to generate "more money." This change was prompted by feedback from both nonprofit organizations and donors via our past post-event surveys. We also learned through our surveys that 66% of our participating nonprofit organizations do not have staff that are fully dedicated to fundraising/marketing; and 45% report that they rely entirely on volunteers, with no employed staff.
Incentive prizes are made possible by sponsors and may be adjusted pending total support.
