Rustic Charm

🍂Last week the weather was finally feeling like fall vibes here in California. I saw all the pumpkin spice back on the menu and I knew it was time for a little change up on my table decor.

So I picked up an unfinished wood tray from and did a paint wash on it to get rid of the meh yellow wood tone. I added some moulds around the trim called “Falling for Fall” using casting resin from .I painted the mould in the paint wash color but with much less water. I applied the moulds with Titebond wood glue using tape, along with clamps.

While shopping at hobby lobby I found that cute wicker pumpkin (oooh which also lights up) and the layered pumpkin trio. I thought the pumpkin trio was such a cute idea to try with some of the pumpkins in “Falling for Fall” mould set. I painted them in brown & white tones and accented some of the details using the opposing color. I used hot glue to layer the moulds together. I applied twine for a finishing touch 🎀

Sharing another project I created using several products from the new release from . These boxes could be used as decor or given as gift boxes.

This massive vintage mirror is all dressed up using the NEW Décor Poly™ from . These are bendable, without heat. They come in many new designs, for various sized projects. I used 4 different designs on this mirror:

I opted to give this one a sleek, elegant makeover. I used “Little Black Dress” Milk Paint and sealed it in h**p oil. I added Gilded Marker to give it that glamorous feel.

I also want to say a big thank you to my friends! I am so lucky to have people around me who are always thinking of me when they have unique pieces. This piece and the previous jewelry armoire I refinished were given to me by friends who thought I could create something beautiful with them. I hope they feel that I have done just that 🥰

Have you guys seen these new backplate moulds that were released from ? They are stunning and pair perfectly with Cece’s K**b Mould’s or your own k***s!! I chose to use the 2 round ones from the pack, there are several designs in the one I used called “Soho Haven”. I love the detailing you get when you use Casting resin from . It’s so easy to mix the 50/50 ratio and only takes about 8-10 minutes to de-mold. I used Kacha’s gold leaf then applied Cece’s Filter Noir glaze to bring out all of the intricate details. These will be used to hang my painting aprons in my work area 💞 I will post a how to video on adding gold leaf and glazing over top to get this look. ✨Today is release day with 🎉 and I so excited to share a full look at this new decoupage paper that was released call Bridal Bliss. This comes in a pack with multiple designs. I used another one of the designs on the other side, that I will share a bit later- when I have time to write up the full post.

Did you know that moulds are food safe? I used the Easter Wreath Decor Mould to create my own chocolates. Why give out regular store bought stuff when you can give handmade high quality chocolates? Swipe 👉to see my favorite chocolate. Do you have a chocolate you prefer? ✨Fun fact about me… I used to to a ton of baking and mainly created hand decorated cookies. So for this, I used my icing piper with a long tip to get the chocolate into the moulds. You could do something similar with a bag. I’ll post the video soon.

🍀Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! I am reminded whenever I see this piece how much I love the way it turned out 💚 I don’t do a ton of green pieces and this makes me wonder why. This rich green paint color paired with the Retro Garden Decoupage Paper from & was everything 🙌. I did a custom resin pour on top, which is still my largest pour to date. I am getting so much inspo from this throwback. I hope you all have a safe St. Patty’s Day!! 🍀

This is a late post that I thought I had already posted… ooopsies!! This is the New Dreamy Bunnies Decoupage Paper from , which has 2 other gorgeous bunny designs in the package. I loved the color combo on this one. I repurposed a vintage mirror that was in very rough shape, hazy and not ideal to be used as a mirror. So, I decided to decoupage it by adding primer before painting a light base coat. I applied Claire & Lavish Swirls Decor Moulds using resin. To blend the decoupage edges a bit I mixed with my paint for texture. I added brown wax for depth on the frame and moulds, and Eternal Decor wax for a little ✨. Of course my little Easter bunny had to check out the new decor and give his approval 💞

I painted the armoire in Opalina from with hints of navy blue and creamy white textured paint using for some beautiful pops of color once sanded back.

This armoire didn’t have a mirror, just the velvet pad so I ordered a small round mirror on and added some gold leafed moulds for interest.

Did you know that the new release from has these gorgeous Bisque Vases that you can order and create so many different designs with?

I decided to add some ✨New✨ moulds called Salon De La Belle Epoque & Salon De Glaces.

I of course created these moulds with casting resin (which can also be purchased from the Prima Website using my affiliate link below) I added the moulds with titebond quick and thick, then layered up the texture with and in Angelic, a mix of Baltic Black & Angelic and Queens Court. I used a stippling motion with a chip brush and wanted areas of darker and lighter. I then dry brushed some of the paint over the moulds to accent them a bit. I used PC’s clear glaze (first) over the moulds, to give me a little more control over the darker glaze. Then I went back and applied Van D**e Brown to give them more depth. For the final touch I added a mixture of Prima’s Eternal and Element decor waxes for a warmer gold. Swipe to see a closeup of those deets!!

🍃Happy Release Day with !! We (my photo bombing little friend & I) are excited to share this old sewing table that I refinished.

There were so many products that I absolutely fell in love with during this release. Like, check out those k***s 👀 from … talk about total game CHANGER!! These ones are called Luxe Ornate and the details that casting resin brought out is just gorgeous. I have made other k***s using clear casting resin that I will be sharing soon 🫢 I also used Cece’s NEW Gilded Envy Gilding Pen to highlight the details on the k**b Mould.

For the front of the drawer I used the Fleur De Lis ✨ Gold Leaf✨ Decor Transfer and added some new Fleur De Lis En Or Decor Moulds for a 3 dimensional look. I love that the transfer has a rustic gold leaf appearance with bits of gold leaf flakes scattered throughout. For the sides of this piece I decided to use the New Chapalle Royale Decoupage Paper and added Salon De Glaces Decor Mould. I added Kacha’s gold leaf to the moulds using gilding glue.

This table was painted in Milk Paint called Earth. I am in love with chippy finish on top. I even took painters tape to remove a few more areas. For the body- I added to a little Asteroid Milk Paint mix and that gave me some heavy texture in the areas I wanted that more rustic, aged look. After applying the transfer, moulds, decoupage paper I went back and added a clear coat to seal the paint, transfer and then a dark brown glaze from called Van D**e Brown. This really gave me the final look I was going for.

Before Christmas is over I wanted to share a easy DIY decor idea I saw that I decided to recreated using the ornament tags I made recently. I used a gold, large frame I had, lighted garland, Christmas ribbon and a couple of holiday crafting branches.

🎄Do you ever just not find the perfect ornaments for fit your look or theme? I do 🙋‍♀️ and this year I just wanted something a little more unique. Swipe 👉to see them on my tree 🎅🏻

I decided to grab some plastic ornaments from the and create my own using moulds, transfers & gold leaf. I used Casting Resin for my moulds and a heat gun to make the moulds curve around the ornaments. I applied them with Titebond Quick & Thick along with tape until the glue was dry. My colors this year have a soft pink, white, along with silver and gold accents. I painted 3 or the 4 ornaments with for texture and left the other one with a beautiful smooth finish. I applied clear and black wax for an aged appearance. I added some bows from .
