Did you know that The Center for Women assists clients from the beginning with a positive pregnancy test to when their child is about to turn 5? We care about Mom and baby! We have a lot of resources like diapers, clothes, strollers, cribs, formula, breast pumps, and more. We offer prenatal, parenting, Life skills, and budgeting classes. We even have a Hero Dads mentorship program. Stop by for more information.

We are now identified as a terrorist group. This slide was shown to soldiers on Fort Liberty (Bragg) for training. They have now done an about face and said it was a "mistake." This is infuriating.

Did you know that the summer months are the most common time of year to have a baby? It's true! Out of the top 100 most popular birthdays, a whopping 82 of them are in July, August, and September!
This means that mothers nationwide need your help now more than ever. Pregnancy centers across our country work tirelessly to ensure the pregnant mothers and expecting families they serve have all the materials and support they can get. However, they can only do this with people like you. With your donation of clothes, diapers, formula, or other essential items to a pregnancy center, lives can continue to be saved and changed!

It was an eventful week! We were presented with a check from the Heartbeat of Hope by Light FM 106.9. Thank you to all who donated! We attended the Lake Toxaway Charities Community fair where we made valuable connections. Additionally, we celebrated the dedication of baby Abigail!

The Center for Women will be holding a time of prayer on the 2nd anniversary of the overturning of Roe v Wade, June 24th at 9:00am. Please join us at The Center.

A BIG thank you to all the churches and volunteers that have volunteered time and energy to the beautification of The Center for Women. Thank you, Cantrell Construction, for the donation and delivery of mulch. Today is particularly challenging for those who have experienced the loss of a baby, whether through miscarriage, abortion or other means. We care and offer support, care, and healing.

Yesterday, we celebrated the life of Karen, one of our volunteers and supporters of The Center for Women. Her memory was honored by a beautiful service. She was a faithful prayer warrior, caring mother, giver, loyal friend and Jesus lover. She is already deeply missed. Please keep her family, friends and loved ones in your prayers.

Today's the day! The Heartbeat of Hope Fundraiser starts and goes through tomorrow until 9:00 am. When you give through this special day of giving, in many instances, 106.9, WMIT, will have challenge funds. The figure of $175.00 per ultrasound is the amount WMIT computes it costs to provide the ultrasound free to clients. (Staffing, ultrasound machine and supplies, facilities, etc.) All of our services and those of these sister agencies are FREE. We know firsthand that providing a free ultrasound can save the life of an unborn child.

Please listen and help provide the gift of life!

The Center for Women will be closed Wednesday, May 8 until 1:00 to allow the staff to attend a Celebration of Life for a dear friend of the Center's.
