We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to speak with Kenny King's son during the Southbury showing of the “No Way to Live” documentary.

We chose to dedicate our documentary to Kenny, whose life and story deeply touched us throughout filming. Kenny's journey through our docuseries has reshaped our understanding of homelessness and inspired us to continue to pursue answers.

During the screening, Kenny's son, Nick, was able to join us and was profoundly moved to witness his father's impact onscreen. It brought us immense joy to see Kenny through his son's eyes and to share in this meaningful experience together.

Homelessness is often misunderstood. Not every person on the street is lazy or addicted to drugs. Listening to their stories without judgment can make a significant difference. Many people living on the streets of Connecticut are there due to unfortunate circumstances, not by choice. Instead of judging, offer compassion and kindness. Everyone has a story, and no one chooses to be homeless. Let's start with something simple yet powerful: a smile. Compassion is free and needed by all. Watch our live stream or documentary to learn more about the struggles and resilience of those experiencing homelessness.
