Big shout out to my newest top fans! 💎
Phillip Sothen, Dave Halter, Eric Miller, Jeremy St John, Roof Rat Brews, Eric Dlubala
A couple of brewers have joined the Top Fan list. Roof Rat Brews and Dave Halter (Big Step Brewing) have brought their loudmouth soup to the same festivals that you will find some BadBison brews.
At Red White and Boom in Kingsport, TN.
Waiting for the Cleverlys.
Discovered this local brewery that opened in 2023. Unfortunately, they don’t book flights, so I am settling for this tasty little number…a Schwarzbier.
Such black lagers are in my top 5 brewski styles. The Five?
Okay.
1. Dopplebock
2. Imperial Stout (preferably cask aged)
3. Dunkel
4. Schwarzbier
5. Irish Red
Fun Fact:
As I walk into the place, Badfinger’s “Baby Blue”came on the sound system. That’s some serious juju because I haven’t been able to shake that one out of my melon since I posted it recently.
Flight booked. Veteran owned brewery with Military themed suds like Pink Mist, 5.56, and Foxtrot Uniform Cancer.
Upper left, counter clockwise.
33 Spirits, a 9.92% Chocolate Orange Stout that is Imperial if you ask me.
Blue Line, Vanilla coffee White Stout that is a 5% ABV
Imperial Force, an Imperial Weat Coast IPA weighing in at 9.2%
Lost Lieutenant, a 5.7% Golden Ale that is one of best GA’s I’ve tasted.
Anybody run across this yellow belly?
It ain’t bad. $13 a twelver.
I like their swagger.
Simple story on back and they are proud that it is beer flavored beer and not BFW.
Me “enjoying” a Berliner Weisse.
My redneckiness was questioned today.
So.
This.
Best quencher after mowing the lawn. Crushing it like Quint.
This.
This is a flight presentation done right.
Wonder what it would cost me to have a dozen of these banged out with The Brand logo….and possibly some kickass phrases?

Someone just told me I should do suds shotgunning videos for special occasions and charge a fee. A short introduction of who the shotgun is for and who requested it….breach the can and have at it.
Not a bad idea for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, big college football rivalry win, you name it.
There would be a conflict of interest to grant a request for someone celebrating a texas longhorn victory. Something like that may have to go before the followers to vote on it….or require an addition surcharge.
I wouldn’t know how to price it. 3 bucks for a 12 oz and $5 for a tallboy? More? Less?
The way I figger it, not a bad idea. Ima shotgunning anyway…for free. Why not generate some cheddar for the next grain bill and let the followers decide what kind of brewski should be cooked with the shotgun revenue.
Once a certain dollar amount is achieved, say….a hundo….we put out a vote on what style of brewski everyone paid for. Then, s**tfire…let’s have a naming convention vote as well. You all paid for it, you should get to name it too.
Wonder what all y’all think?
What would be a good price for a personal celebratory shotgun video?
This thing could go viral….especially since the proceeds go toward a style of suds for a brew-sesh that would be decided by the 640 (and counting) BadBison BrewCo followers.
I would prolly need some help fi*****ng out the ‘ol Instagram or tic tock thing to really boost viewership.
As promised. Crushing it like Quint.
I’m gonna p**s off the Guinness Cult when I say this last offering of my pick-a-six is just about as good.
I would love to blindfold challenge some loyalists to point out the Guinness. I’m guessing 60% would get it right.
The 4th of the pick-a-six.
I will never pass the opportunity to try anything with peanut butter involved.
Why?
Welp, I love peanut butter and have cooked what I believe should be the holy grail of PB Stouts.
This fella right here isn’t all that good. While I appreciate the effort by Tailgate Brewery, it may be time for them to revisit the drawing board for this one.
It doesn’t suck, mind you, It’s simply isn’t very good.
I believe if you use a font twice the size of the other font, then the emphasis should be on that larger font.
The words “Peanut Butter” are twice the size of the word “Milkstout”. To me that means you should really lean into the PB.
Part of my pick-a-six includes this Jamaican Dragon Fire Stout. 9.8oz cutie with a 10% ABV punch. I would call this an Imperial Stout that tastes very much like a Dopplebock.
This brewski took me off guard because I didn’t expect a stout from Jamaica to be so good. Thick, rich, and layered with flavors. I detect raisins in there too.
When I think of island brewski’s (and Central American offerings as well) I think of lagers, pilsners, and other straw colored suds.
The odd sized bottle threw me as well. It’s a keeper that will house a future BadBison Brewski as a sampler.
Let’s talk about this one for a bit. It is a Hefeweizen Bier with watermelon and mint.
The mint takes it over…but in a good way. You really, really smell it and you really, really taste it. The watermelon sweetness is there but the mint dominates.
I love this brewski but to me it seems very much like a Radler, which is one of my favorite styles.
It has such a sweet and powerful flavor that it would be difficult to crush a bunch of these.
Allbeingsaid, I highly suggest this one….just don’t expect it to taste beery.
Next. Flensburger Dunkel.
Dopplebock is my favorite style of brewski, but Dunkel is my second. While they had me at Dunkel, I must admit….11.2 oz flippy growler bottle made this loudmouth soup a must have.
This German Dunkel is one of the best I’ve shribbed and will rate as a 4.5 on Untapped.
Now excuse me while I get this bottle soaking to remove the label….some BadBison brewski will make its way into this vessel.
Starting my pick-a-six pack evaluation for Untapped.
I’ve only rated a brewski at 5 twice…and it was for the BadBison BrewCo’s His Boy Elroy and Young Master Jetson.
This UFO Maine Blueberry Hazy Wheat gets a perfect 5 because it is the s**t.
Run.
Don’t walk….to your nearest craft brew emporium and get some.
There is a possibility that I return to The Libation Station and wipe them them completely out of this product. But for now, you will have to excuse me while I drop off Facebook to prepare a power point presentation outlining the greatness of this loudmouth soup and email it to UFO Beer Company
A long, long time ago Coors ran a brewski called Coors Extra Gold. Craft beer wasn’t on the map at the time so me and the beer posse drank commercial yellowbelly and we dabbled into anything new that hit the open air coolers.
At the time, Coors Extra Gold was the s**t. Absolutely the nectar of the gods. Totally rocked my world. Then it went away. Don’t know, don’t understand why.
Same thing happened in the mid-nineties when Old Milwaukee Red hit the beer aisle for about 6 months. A Red Ale, brewed by Squawkie. That brewski was kickass….and poof…gone.
Somebody that works as a distributor for Miller/Coors said that Coors Extra Gold was actually regular Coors mixed 50/50 with Killians. Welp…I ran across some of that Killians and I bought some Coors as well.
I mixed them.
Tasty?
Yes?
A doppelgänger for Coors Extracts Gold?
Meh.
Good collab, but Ima have to nix the theory and notify Snopes.com in case somebody trolls such a rumor.
Selected a pick-a-six at Libation Station today. A nice little variety that should earn me a badge or two on Untapped.
That Watermelon Mint Hefeweizen is intriguing.
I planted some mint near The Bison Outdoor Arena (The BOA) for the purpose of brewing; I just haven’t come up with a loudmouth soup recipe for the plant but that little fella has grown so well that it can legally identity as a bush.
Big shout out to Jeff Hess for scooping my BOLO. He’s not physically in the BisonLab, I just wanted to tag him so he can get his props as a Pintsmith.
The Food City on the Volunteer Parkway did have the retro ‘gansett cans, so it looks like I will be crushing it like Quint this weekend. Had to dig deep behind the new design cans, but this rascal was tucked away up in there.
PS: The Food City in Gray has Narragansett in the 30 count blocks. They are in the modern day “Hi Neighbor” cans so you can’t wax sentimentally as you down these yellow bellies. The block will run you a couple of sawbucks and some change….still a great value at about $.75 a brewski.
