Hey everybody! I would love to reintroduce myself & my company. I have made a lot of changes since the first year I began the business. We were formerly know as Mountain Metal Creations, but we offer so much more than metal now that the name didn’t suit us anymore. We are now known as Appalachian Trinkets. We make our jewelry & trinkets out of silverware, skeleton keys, bullet casings, buttons, coins…. Pretty much anything that we can repurpose & make beautiful!
I am originally from SC. We lived in TN for 3 years until last year when we spent a year with my parents back in SC & unfortunately lost both of them. We are now back in TN & I’m so thankful to be back in the mountains & to be able to call them home.
I am a Mom to a Navy kid, a Chinese Crested known as Ms. Mia BossDawg & a Crested Gecko named Charlie. My other half, John, spends most of his time doing photography, but also helps me with all my wild ideas & projects to keep my business going. 💙
I formerly worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over 20 years. After my parents passed away & I actually realized what the world of healthcare was doing to my mental health, I decided to not just have Appalachian Trinkets as a side hustle for a business. This will now be my full time job. This will give me more time for custom orders & to create all the new things my brain thinks about at 2 am when I can’t sleep 🫣😆.
I wanted to thank everyone who has continued to support me. I also wanted to welcome my newcomers to the page & hope you love what I create. We are about a week away from getting my work space completed at our new house. I will be posting pictures of all the new things I have to offer. Feel free to message me with any questions. Hope to see you all at my upcoming markets & vendor shows. ❤️💙 I’d love to hear from you down below in the comments 😊 Share, Like & Follow
Here are some of the events lined up so far for 2024! I’ll update as I add shows. Come out & see us❤️
Stocking up the 4Runner with work benches so we can get my new work area set up. So excited for this year for all the vendor shows & new creations I have to show you all ! ❤️
Hey everybody! I wanted to hop on here & say hello to everyone & check in & give an update. My Dad passed away earlier this year & my Mom had open heart surgery shortly after. We have been back & forth in SC trying to take care of everything. We are all on the mend after a very stressful year. I’ve missed seeing & visiting with everyone. We will be back in the swing of things with some of our oldie but goodie favorites & some brand new creations I’ve been working on in a little bit of spare time I’ve had. I’m excited to see everyone & get back out sharing all of our creations. Please like or share my page. Post any emoji down below to let me know you can see this post if you don’t mind. Thanks for all the new likes I see & all the support I’ve had over the past few years. 💚❤️
