Joseph Walker for Ward 6

The results are in and my next moves will become apparent soon. Thank you very much to everyone that supported this campaign.

Since I am unable to post to Brockton Politics Central with any of my accounts, I will respond here to the post by Lisa Campanella Crowley and the comments within that post.

Regarding ward meetings, I will hold them regularly with the first meeting within 30 days of taking office.

Regarding the staffing at the school. If we did not have trouble with staffing we wouldn't have several classes daily at the high school with nobody to teach them. We obviously have a staffing issue and we have had issues for a long time and the discrimination suit related to this nearly bankrupted the city. We must have fair hiring practices and we must not discriminate.

Critical thinking is what I do for a living as a system administrator and engineer. I seek to provide answers and not excuses to the happenings of the city.

Does this look like a sports complex to you? This is a scam. Don't let anyone tell you this has been 4+ years of site prep or staging because it isn't. It has been 4+ years of deception and running an illegal dump in our neighborhood. We miss ward meetings in Ward 6. I promise that when I am elected, I will hold a ward meeting within 30 days of taking office and at a minimum I will also hold a ward meeting quarterly. The only way I can effectively represent everyone in Ward 6 is if I hear from you about what is important to you. If you are in Ward 6 and ready for leadership that will be accountable and transparent the only candidate to vote for is Joseph Walker on November 7th!

I am always looking for ways to improve myself and those around me. Last week I attended the Black Men Xcel conference in Miami Florida, sponsored by FedEx. It was several days of leadership training, executive and financial one on one coaching, networking, motivation, real talk, and debates. We even had a session on BBQing that was as informative as it was delicious. This was an amazing event
